1) Bogota Stopover

Bogota
Nestled high in the Andes at 2620 m. (8646 ft), Santafé de Bogotá is a city of contrasts. It's a city of high-rise buildings standing next to colonial churches; a city of universities, theatres and shantytowns. It is a mixture of influences, Spanish and English and Indian; a city of great wealth and material well being and abject poverty. It is a city of wild traffic and calm oases reflecting a bygone day. It is a modern city with futuristic architecture, graffiti and congestion.

3) Cartagena - Rosario Islands

Cartagena de Indias is a fascinating and colorful port city resting on the Caribbean coast. Once plagued by pirates, a series of forts were built up around the city for protection. Its historic old centre is enclosed by city walls and contains beautiful colonial architecture, cobbled alleys, plazas and courtyards filled with flowers. Due to its atmosphere, beauty and history, the city has been named a UNESCO World Heritage site and is also the gateway to the coral archipelagos of Rosario and San Bernardo.

Hot, sultry, filled with the sounds of music and bright with color and tradition, Cartagena de Indias has been an important port on the Caribbean since it was founded in 1533. Gold and silver left the port bound for Europe, pirates looted the city, and a walled fort grew to protect both shipping and the slave trade.

A one hour boat ride through the Bay of Cartagena, will bring you to Paradise, as you glide through the clear turquoise waters and past golden beaches… Rosario Islands!

The Rosario Islands Natural Park offers private facilities where all can enjoy the natural beauty and nature. Dont miss out on the sunsets, and the "big sky" nights with star filled skys that are special over the islands.

4) Colombian Coast

Guachalito, Coquí, Joví, Termales, and Morromico are some of the names of the beaches and villages that make up the paradise called Nuquí, a municipality in the department of Chocó, on the shores of the Pacific Ocean, where sea and jungle fuse into one of the most spectacular natural landscapes in Colombia.

This is the ideal place for those who love nature and the calm of the sounds it radiates. A destination with uncountable waters, flora, and fauna, where the essence of life is rediscovered. There is no disturbing noise here, nor the complications of modern life. Only the perfect atmosphere for resting, dreaming, and creating.

Nuquí is sought after by admirers of indescribable spectacles such as the arrival of the yubarta, or humpback, whales from July to November and of all the wildlife that hides among the rich vegetation of the tropical rainforest and in a sea that teems with animal and vegetal species.

It is reached by air from Medellín or Quibdó, the capital of the department. Travel to the various beaches is done by motor boat or by hiking along them, depending on the time of day and the state of the tide. The entire environment is a standing invitation to become fascinated by unequalled attractions.
