Itinerary:

Day 1. Bariloche
You will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel of choice. (See below for hotel options)

Days 2. Bariloche
Today is free to explore the quaint and fascinating cit of Bariloche or to explore beyond the towns borders and into the foothills of the Andes. B

Days 3. Andean Traverse - Peulla
Today sees us head for the lake shore and a transit through an amazing Andean mountain lake system into Chile. The original crossing was undertaken in 1913 by a group of tourists led by Ricardo Roth who crossed the Andes Mountains along a route joining Peulla in the Chilean side with Bariloche in Argentina.

A combination of bus and boat you cut through the heart of one of the most magnificent mountain ranges and regions of the world. B

Day 4. Peulla - Puerto Varas
Today as you continue your transit you have the morning to explore Peulla before boarding the vessel and the final leg into Chile.

Puerto Varas, a beautiful town just 15 minutes away from Puerto Montt is located in the borders of Lake Llanquihue. Just kilometers before enter town we will enjoy a splendid view of the Lake's bay and the magnificent Osorno Volcano. Take note of Puerto Vara's German architecture as a result of the significant German immigration in early twentieth century. B

Day 5. Puerto Varas - Puerto Montt - Onward Travels
Today an optional tour of Frutillar, the local museum is available.

You are then transferred to the airport for your connecting flight or continue on into Southern Patagonia, North to Santiago or into the far reaches of the Atacama. B

Day 1. Bariloche to Puerto Varas or v.v.
You are picked up from your hotel and drive across the border into Chile. After border formalities you head to Puerto Varas where you are dropped off at your hotel. Approximate transit time is 7 hours.

The above itinerary can be done in reverse Puerto Varas to Bariloche with hotel drop offs at Nevada, Nahuel Huapi, Tres reyes, Edelweiss, Panamericano, Cacique Inacayal, Llao Llao, Villa Huinid, Design Suites, Nido del Condor, La Cascada, Peñon del Lago and Kenton.

NOTE: Lake Crossing to Bariloche or V.V. must be done with a night in Peulla from May 1st until August 31st, rest of the year in one day. Meal options available on request
