Day 1. Arrive Nairobi.
You will be met by Goway's local representative and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of your day is at leisure.

Day 2. Nairobi to Samburu National Reserve.
After breakfast drive north via Nanyuki and Mt Kenya to the Samburu National Reserve. Rugged and remote, this wildlife reserve provides some the best and most colorful game viewing in the country. Lunch en route with an afternoon game drive en-route to your lodge.

Samburu Intrepids (2 nights) (BLD)

Kenya Tanzania map Day 3. Samburu National Reserve.
All day spent in the Samburu National Reserve with morning and afternoon game drives to explore this harshly beautiful reserve where game abounds, especially in the forested fringes of the Uaso Nyiro River.

Day 4. Mount Kenya National Park.
After breakfast you will be driven to your lodge situated at the foot of Mt Kenya, arriving in time for lunch. Your afternoon is at leisure, viewing game from the lodge’s terrace.

Serena Mountain Lodge (BLD)

Day 5. Malewa Wildlife Conservancy.
After breakfast you will be collected for the day’s drive taking you past the Aberdares mountain range to the floor of the Great Rift Valley, destination Malewa Wildlife Conservancy. Lunch will be at your lodge. This afternoon you embark on nature walk to introduce you the conservancy’s biodiversity. Optional night game drive at extra cost.

Malewa Wildlife Lodge (2 nights) (BLD)

Day 6. Malewa Wildlife Conservancy.
This morning after breakfast you will drive to the nearby Lake Nakuru National Park for a morning game drive. After the game drive you will return to your lodge for a late lunch. Thereafter you will have the opportunity to visit the local community to learn about their way of life and and their contribution to conservation. (BLD)

Day 7. Masai Mara National Game Reserve.
After breakfast, you will be driven to the Masai Mara National Reserve offering wonderful scenery and plenty of game. It is perhaps the only region left in Kenya where the visitor may see animals in the same super-abundance as existed a century ago. Lunch will be at your lodge and then embark on an afternoon game drive until sunset.

Mara Serena Lodge (2 nights) (BLD)

Day 8. Masai Mara National Game Reserve.
Breakfast at the lodge or an optional early morning balloon ride with champagne-style breakfast (extra cost - please prebook). The whole day is spent in the Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. (BLD)

Day 9. Serengeti National Park.
After breakfast, we drive to the border town of Isebania where you will go through the normal immigration and customs procedures. Proceed in a Tanzanian vehicle to Serengeti National Park. You then drive to the Serengeti which is a stage for the greatest wildlife spectacle on earth; the annual migration (between June - August). A picnic lunch will be provided at a picturesque site. Tour the park en-route to the lodge arriving for dinner.

Serengeti Serena Lodge (3 nights) (BLD)

Day 10 & 11. Serengeti National Park.
Spend the morning and afternoon exploring the endless plains of the Serengeti observing animal & bird life in their natural habitat. (BLD)

Day 12 Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
After breakfast, we drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, the largest intact caldera in the world. Its enduring charm stems from its overwhelming physical beauty and the abundance of wildlife permanently resident on the crater floor. En route visit the Olduvai Gorge site of archeological findings, where traces of pre-historic man dating back to 3.5 million years ago have been discovered. You will arrive back at your lodge for lunch and the afternoon is at leisure.

Ngorongoro Serena Lodge (2 nights) (BLD)

Day 13. Ngorongoro Conservation.
Area After breakfast we descend into the Ngorongoro Crater: the world's largest intact caldera, in a 4x4 vehicle, for your half day crater tour. This natural amphitheater is home to a vast concentration of animals and is the best place to see the black rhino. Lunch will be taken at the lodge and afternoon at leisure. (BLD)

Day 14. Departure.
After breakfast in the lodge, you will check out and be driven back to Arusha arriving for lunch at Pepe restaurant. After lunch you will be transferred to the airport for your outbound flight. (BL)
