Day 1. Arrive Nairobi.
On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta Airport you will be met and assisted by a Goway representative. You will then be transferred to your hotel and the rest of the day is at leisure.
Day 2. Mount Kenya National Park.
After breakfast you will driven to the world famous Mt. Kenya Safari Club which was founded by William Holden. On a clear day you will see the magnificent mountain in its full splendor. The club offers glorious views of the mountain and forest, delightful gardens, a 9-hole golf course and a splendid colonial-style ambience with roaring log fires. You will arrive in time for lunch at your lodge. This afternoon you will get the opportunity to visit the animal orphanage. BLD

Day 3. Sweetwaters Wildlife Sanctuary.
After breakfast you will set out on your first game drive in The Sweetwaters Wildlife Sanctuary for morning activity. The afternoon is at your leisure to at the club where you may sample a wide array of excursions on offer or even test your golf club in the meticulously maintained golf course or just sit back and admire the magnificence of the mountain. Day 4. Mount Kenya National Park.
After breakfast you will be driven through to your lodge for a very unique experience. Your lodge is situated at the foot of Mt Kenya, and you will arrive in time for lunch. Your game activity at this lodge is unique in the fact that you take your seat on the terrace and wait for the animals to come to you, instead of heading out in a 4x4 vehicle. The hotel is perfectly situated around a waterhole that provides for this wonderful opportunity. BLD
Day 5. Malewa Wildlife Conservancy.
After breakfast you will be collected for the day’s drive which will take you past the Aberdares mountain range to the floor of the Great Rift Valley, your destination is the Malewa Wildlife Conservancy. You will arrive in time for lunch which is to be taken at the lodge. Then this afternoon you will embark on nature walk to introduce you the conservancy’s biodiversity. At a carefully selected site, you will be able to enjoy a Kigio sundowner while watching the sun settle into the horizon. This evening you will embark on a night game drive to see what activities can be uncovered through the night air. BLD
Malewa Wildlife Lodge (2 nights)
Day 6. Malewa Wildlife Conservancy.
After breakfast this morning you will be driven to the nearby Lake Nakuru National Park for your morning game drive. Lake Nakuru is one of the Rift Valley soda lakes and lies to the south of Nakuru, in the rift valley of Kenya and is protected by Lake Nakuru National Park. The lake's abundance of algae attracts the vast quantity of flamingos that famously line the shore. Other birds also flourish in the area, as do warthogs, baboons and other large mammals. Black and white rhinos have also been introduced. Nakuru means "Dust or Dusty Place" in the Maasai language. After the game drive you will return to your lodge for late lunch. Day 7. Masai Mara National Game Reserve.
After breakfast, you will be driven to the Masai Mara National Reserve offering wonderful scenery and plenty of game. It is perhaps the only region left in Kenya where the visitor may see animals in the same super-abundance as existed a century ago. It is famous for its exceptional population of lions, leopards and cheetahs, game, and the annual migration of zebra, Thomson's gazelle, and wildebeest to and fro the Serengeti every year from July to October, known as the Great Migration. You will stop for lunch on route at Keekorok lodge. This afternoon you will have the opportunity to enjoy a game drive on route to your lodge, stopping for a visit at a Masai village to see the culture of these unique nomadic people. BLD

Day 8. Masai Mara National Game Reserve.
For the early risers there is a wonderful opportunity to take an optional balloon ride followed by a champagne-style breakfast (not included and needs to be pre-booked). Passengers who go on the balloon ride will meet up with the rest of the group later this morning. If you don’t want to miss out on the Hippo breakfast, the balloon can be done during your stay in the Serengeti. For those opted not to do a balloon ride, there is still an early wake up call and cup of tea, and then you will set off on a fascinating game drive into the bush where, a full English breakfast will be cooked before you. Enjoy a glass of chilled ‘buck's fizz' while you watch the hippos in the river below. Not many experiences are more memorable, or as typically Kenyan, as breakfast by the hippo pool. Thereafter you will return to your lodge with a game drive on route. Time to relax at the lodge for the rest of the morning and take in lunch. This afternoon you head out for your afternoon game viewing drive and return in time for dinner. BLD
Day 9. Serengeti National Park.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Masai airstrip for your flight to Migori. On arrival you will be met and then driven to the border town of Isebania where you will go through the immigration and customs procedures at the Tanzanian border. You will then change vehicles as you proceed into Tanzania and onwards onto the Serengeti National Park. You will stop for a picnic lunch once in the park and then the afternoon is spent on a game drive heading towards your lodge for the evening BLD
Serengeti Serena Lodge (3 nights)
Day 10 & 11. Serengeti National Park.
For those wanting to do the balloon ride followed by a champagne breakfast will have the opportunity while staying in the Serengeti (this is at an extra cost and needs to be pre-booked). Two full days are spent in the Serengeti with morning and afternoon game drives. The Serengeti eco-system is located in north Tanzania and extends to south-western Kenya and spans some 30,000 km2. The Serengeti hosts the largest terrestrial mammal migration in the world, which is one of the ten natural travel wonders of the world. Serengeti is derived from the Maasai language, specifically, "Serengit" meaning "Endless Plains". Approximately 70 larger mammals and some 500 avifauna species are found there. This high diversity in terms of species is a function of diverse habitats ranging from riverine forests, swamps, kopjes, grasslands and woodlands. Blue Wildebeests, gazelles, zebras and buffalos are some of the commonly found large mammals in the region. With the predators, like Lion, Cheetah and Leopard close on their heels. BLD
Day 12 Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
This morning after breakfast, you will be driven to the Ngorongoro Crater, the largest intact caldera in the world. Its enduring charm stems from its overwhelming physical beauty and the abundance of wildlife permanently resident on the crater floor. Before you arrive at this breathtaking area you stop for a visit at the Olduvai Gorge which is a site of archeological findings, where traces of pre-historic man dating back to 3.5 million years ago have been discovered. You will arrive in time for lunch at the lodge and the rest of the afternoon is at leisure to take in the views of the crater. BLD
Ngorongoro Serena Lodge (2 nights)
Day 13. Ngorongoro Conservation.
After breakfast, you will depart for half day tour of the crater floor. A population of approximately 25,000 large animals live in the crater; these include the black rhinoceros, and the hippopotamus, which is very uncommon in the area, the wildebeest, the zebra, the eland, and Grant's and Thompson's gazelles. The crater has the densest known population of lions, numbering 62 in 2001. On the crater rim are leopards, elephants, mountain reedbuck, and buffalo. In the middle of the crater there is a large lake inhabited by hundreds of flamingoes and from a distance, they appear as a pink border of the lake. The Crater, a large, unbroken, unflooded volcanic caldera was formed when a giant volcano exploded and collapsed on itself some two to three million years ago, is 610 m deep and its floor covers 260 km2. You will return to your lodge for lunch and the rest of the afternoon is at your leisure. For your pleasure a late afternoon sundowner has been arranged with spectacular crater views. BLD
Day 14. Departure.
After breakfast at your lodge, you will be driven back to Arusha arriving in time for lunch at the Pepe restaurant. Thereafter you will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight. BL
