The Classic Namibia is a combination of the Southern Namibia, Northern Namibia and the Etosha with 2 full days in Swakopmund. Fathom the magnitude of the Fish River Canyon, the second largest in the world. Experience the ever changing mountainous sea of the Namib Desert sand dunes at Sossusvlei. Survey the ancient rugged mountains in the untouched wilderness of Damaraland. And encounter the magnificent African wildlife in Etosha National Park.
Day 1. (Sat) Windhoek to Kalahari Desert. Depart Windhoek and drive via Rehoboth into the Kalahari Desert for overnight. A scenic drive will be undertaken towards sunset (in open vehicles). D

Day 2. Kalahari Desert to Fish River Canyon. Drive through Kalahari and visit the Quiver tree forest near Keetmanshoop. Short stop in Keetmanshoop. Lunch-en route (for own account). Continue to Naute Dam for a quick stop. BD
Canon Roadhouse or similar
Day 3. Fish River Canyon to Aus. After breakfast, travel to the Hobas Campsite, an entrance to the Fish River Canyon to view the Canyons most spectacular northern fringes. Continue to Aus and visit the Aus Information Centre. See desert adapted horses on entering Namib Desert. Enjoy spectacular scenery of the Aus Mountains on an unguided walk or join a scenic sundowner drive in the afternoon (own account). BD

Day 4. Aus to Maltahohe. See the ever-changing vistas of the desert landscapes when driving along the most beautiful district road in Namibia. Arrive at your Lodge in the early afternoon with time to relax at your Lodge. BD

Day 5. Maltahohe to Namib Naukluft Park. Early start to visit Sossusvlei, where we will undertake a drive with 4x4 vehicles into the heart of the Namib Desert. Climb into the gorge of Sesriem Canyon before you travel past the impressive Namib Naukluft Mountains to your lodge. BD

Day 6. Namib Naukluft Park to Swakopmund. Drive through Kuiseb Canyon and continue towards Walvis Bay at the coast. Lunch in Walvis Bay (on own account). Visit Walvis Bay Lagoon to view seabirds then travel onto Swakopmund. Enjoy a sundowner drive to view the Moon-like landscape in the afternoon. BD

Day 7. Swakopmund. This morning you will have time to explore lovely Swakopmund at your leisure. You may wish to book an optional day tour (on own account) in Swakopmund (guided tour through historical town or the Mondesa township, quad-biking, sand-boarding; Living Desert Tour, scenic flight over Skeleton coast or catamaran or boat cruise at Walvis Bay). Many optional activities are on offer. B
Day 8. Swakopmund. Another day to enjoy the splendours and many attractions of Swakopmund at your own pace. BD
Day 9. Swakopmund to Damaraland. Depart early morning on the salt road towards Henties Bay, past some pans and an array of bird life. Visit Twyfelfontein and the Organ Pipes on way into Damaraland. Lunch packs en route. We will arrive at the lodge during the late afternoon. BLD
Twyfelfontein Lodge (2 nights)
Day 10. Damaraland. Enjoy a morning scenic drive in rocky Damaraland with a guide of the lodge. Return to the lodge for lunch. Spent the afternoon at leisure or join a guided walk where you are introduced to the rich flora and fauna of the area. (The game drive might be done in the afternoon and the guided walk in the morning depending on availability at the lodge.) BLD
Day 11. Damaraland to Otjiwarongo. Leave Damaraland. Visit a Himba village near Kamanjab and learn more about the culture and the tradition of this half-nomadic people. Continue via the little town of Outjo for a lunch stop (on own account) to Otjiwarongo for overnight. BD
Otjibamba Lodge
Day 12. Otjiwarongo to Etosha National Park. Join a local guide on a guided morning walk through the small game park surrounding your lodge. Continue via Outjo into Etosha National Park, where we undertake the first game drive in our touring vehicle. Before sunset we will leave Etosha again and drive to our lodge/safari camp outside the Park. BLD
Privately owned lodge or safari camp near Etosha Park (2 nights)
Day 13. Etosha National Park. The entire day will be spent in the park, exploring the waterholes along this enormous saltpan. Lunch stop at one of the rest camps (lunch for own account). BD
Day 14. Etosha National Park. Another day of explorations in this world famous National Park. Your guide will introduce you to the complex subject of managing such an enormous reserve. Lunch stop at one of the rest camps (lunch for own account). BD
Rest Camp or nearby lodge
Day 15. Etosha to Windhoek. Depart the rest camp or lodge and travel south towards Otjiwarongo. Continue towards Windhoek via Okahandja where we will visit a local handicraft market. The tour ends on arrival in Windhoek late afternoon. B
