Swakopmund

With palm-lined streets, seaside promenades and fine accommodation for all budgets, Swakopmund is Namibia's most popular holiday destination. The city's German origins are quite pronounced in beautiful old German Colonial buildings throughout the city. As Namibia's adrenaline capital, many adventure activities are on offer from quad biking and sand-boarding to camel riding and sky-diving.
Day 1. Swakopmund.
Check-in to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 2. Swakopmund.
After breakfast transfer to Walvis bay for a cruise of the harbour and lagoon. Discover the rich sea life and get close to the feathered inhabitants of Bird Island and Pelican Island, home to a large seal colony. In season you should see dolphins. Return to your hotel at lunchtime and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Consider going a half day tour of the Namib Desert, the oldest living desert in the world.
Day 3. Depart Swakopmund.
