Cape Town, the mother city of Africa, and its Western Cape, are regarded as one of the most beautiful regions in the world. Is is also a rare cultural gem with is mixture of many peoples.

Day 1. Arrive Cape Town.
You will be met by our Goway representative and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 2. Cape of Good Hope.
This morning you embark on your full day Peninsula Tour.  Travel along one of South Africa's most scenic routes, passing Hout Bay and Constantia Hills enjoying dramatic scenery enroute to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. Enjoy one of the most famous views in the world, False Bay. Stop at Bolders Beach to see the penguins at the naval town of Simon's Town. (B)

Day 3. Cape Town.
This morning after breakfast you will embark on a Robben Island Tour (weather permitting). Please make your way to the Victoria and Alfred ferry dock to board the boat across Table Bay, where you will have to opportunity to interact with an ex-political prisoner. Take a 45-minute bus ride with a guide providing commentary. Formerly a political prison and a leper colony before that, the historic landmark of Robben Island was recently established as a museum, national monument and world heritage sight. Experience the conditions of incarceration - view Nelson Mandela's maximum security prison cell (Cell 5) and see the lime quarries.  After your return to the Cape Town, the rest of the day is at your leisure. (B)

Day 4. Depart Cape Town.
Today is at leisure until you are transferred to the airport for your onward flight.

Escape to the tranquility and "old world" charm of the Paarl, Franschoek and Stellenbosch wine areas. Visit prize-winning wine estates for wine tasting, the Huguenot Monument and the world-famous 19th century shop, Oom Samies se Winkel.

Hermanus Tour:
Visit the Harold Porter Botanical Gardens and the quaint fishing town of Hermanus, famous for whale watching (July-Nov). Return via Sir Lowry's Pass, which offers breathtaking views of the Cape Peninsula.

Walk to Freedom Tour:
Experience the raw energy of the "Rainbow Nation" with visits to District Six Museum, Langa (the oldest apartheid housing scheme in the Cape), Tsoga Environment Gardens, an informal spaza shop, a shebeen and a hostel. Departs daily at 8:30 a.m. Returns 1:30pm (Note: District Six Museum closed Sundays)
