Day 1. Arrive Port Elizabeth.
Upon arrival at Port Elizabeth International Airport you will be met by Goway's local representative and assisted through the car hire process. You will have 2 nights in this coastal town, which will give you some time to enjoy one of South Africa's blue flag beaches.

Radisson Hotel (2 nights)

Day 2. Port Elizabeth.
This town is known as the Water Capital of Africa, due to its combination of heavenly shores and invigorating sea breezes attracts thousands of sport lovers to enjoy some of the best sailing, surfing, scuba diving, kite surfing and much more. (B)

Day 3. Port Elizabeth to St Francis Bay.
Today you will leave PE, as named by the locals and travel for about an hour out of the city along the cost to St Francis Bay which is situated at the gateway of the picturesque Garden Route. (B)

The Sands @ St. Francis Bay (2 nights)

Day 4. St. Francis Bay.
Another beach lover's paradise, your accommodation is situated on the oceans edge with each room opening onto a private deck offering breathtaking views. Attractions nearby the hotel are a golf course, lighthouse and port tours, deep sea fishing or canal cruises. (B)

Day 5. St. Francis to Plettenberg Bay.
Plettenberg bay is a popular spot for local travelers for its scenery, beaches and activities. (B)

Robberg House (2 nights)

Day 6. Plettenberg Bay.
Today will give you a lovely opportunity to experience some of what this area has to offer, for the adventurous there is bungee jumping or sky diving, for those interested in the wildlife, why not visit the primate sanctuary Monkeyland, go on an eco-based whale & dolphin tour, and visit the snake or elephant sanctuary. (B)

Day 7. Plettenberg Bay to the Karoo.
Today we head inland for about 2 ½ hours into the Karoo which is a semi-desert region of South Africa, home to the Khoi and Bushman, last of South Africa's stone age people. (BLD)

Samara Private Game Reserve Karoo Lodge (2nights)

Day 8. Karoo.
You are able to enjoy two game drives today, one in the morning and then in the afternoon. Get ready to spot a cheetah or the elusive leopard. This area offers a wonderful variety of birdlife and also fossils that predate the dinosaurs and well preserved Khoisan paintings offer a fascinating insight in the earth's history. (BLD)

Day 9 Departure.
You can extend your stay or travel onwards to one of South Africa's other wonderful areas. Drive to Port Elizabeth to drop off your car. (B)
