This itinerary was created with families and their young travelers in mind. It features hotels & lodges that are family friendly and offer fun, kid specific programs.
Day 1. Arrive Cape Town.
Upon arrival in Cape Town you will be met by your Goway's local representative and transferred to your hotel. The hotel offers programs, activities and meals especially for the kids. (B)
Protea President - sea-facing room (4 nights)
Day 2. Peninsula Tour & Two Oceans Aquarium.
After breakfast depart on a Peninsula Tour. Begin with a visit up Table Mountain (weather permitting) for a breathtaking view over the city and its environment. Continue to Hout Bay for a cruise to Seal Island then head for the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and its scenic viewing point. Return to the V&A Waterfront for lunch (own account) before an afternoon visit to the famous Two Oceans Aquarium. (B)
Day 3. Day Trip to Spier Cheetah Rehabilitation Centre.
Depart for Stellenbosch to visit the Spier Cheetah Rehabilitation Centre as well as the Eagle Encounters at Spier. Eagle Encounters' core function is the rehabilitation of birds of prey. (B)
Day 4. Cape Town at Leisure.
Today you will spend the day at leisure. You have a choice of many optional activities. (B)
Day 5. Cape Town to Shiduli Private Game Reserve.
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Hoedspruit (flight not included). Upon arrival you will be transferred to Shiduli. (BD)
Shiduli Private Game Reserve (3 nights)
Day 6 & 7. Shiduli Private Game Reserve.
Offering an unrivalled African Safari experience where the warm atmosphere, friendly staff and fine cuisine compliment the excellent game viewing, guests can step into the relaxed ambience of the lodge. Shiduli offers a great kids program called "Little Paws Centre" with a range of activities to choose from. (BLD)
Day 8. Depart Hoedspruit.
You will be transferred to Hoedspruit Airport for your flight to Johannesburg (Flight not included). (B)
