The Ultimate Overland Adventure
6 to 41 day Journeys
Travelling OVERLAND is arguably the ultimate way to experience Africa! Self-sufficient, custom-built trucks take you through diverse landscapes of deserts, mountains, savannah, cities and coastline to encounter the wildlife, natural wonders, activities and welcoming people of this immense continent. As one of the team, you’re involved in day-to-day duties including setting up camp, preparing food or shopping for provisions... not a conventional holiday. Nothing beats witnessing a beautiful sunrise from the door of your tent or re-living the day’s events with new friends around camp at the end of the day. If time is restricted, then enjoy one of the many segments available
With Overlanding, your vehicle is an integral part of your experience. More than simply transport, it becomes your home from home, capably taking you across rugged corners of the continent and stocked with all the facilities and equipment (and a few luxuries) to make your overland experience a great one!

Route colours reflect itineraries below
Travellers come from a variety of backgrounds but are mostly aged between 20 and 45 and from the UK, Europe, Australasia, North America and the Far East. While some are well travelled, others are just beginning their discovery of life on the road.
Come alone or with a partner or travel buddies. Either way, you’ll find yourself amongst friends as you share new and exciting experiences across Africa.
Your Safari Crew
The crew are the people who can turn a great tour into an amazing tour. Your crew (driver and tour leader) are integral to the expedition and they ensure smooth day to day operations, share their in-depth knowledge and passion for the continent and make things fun! Their skills range from truck maintenance, accounting, camp management and shopping to regaling camp stories and even sometimes making birthday cakes in the middle of nowhere!
The Trucks
(Safe, Smart and Self-Sufficient)
These trucks are some of the finest in overland travel. With the capacity for 24 passengers they have 16 standard forward facing seats, 8 table seats and 270 degree panorama views so you don’t miss out on the amazing scenery or wildlife! All our trucks are self contained and carry everything we need for our adventure, from freezers and power-points to tables, personal luggage lockers, chairs and awning for our campsite. We also carry some fun extras – an mp3 player jack with speakers for our journeys and sports equipment so we can unwind en route or in camp, with a game of soccer or volleyball.
Overland Itinerary Choices
All our long durarion Overlands are made up of smaller sections. So it is easy to add one section to another and create a journey suited to your budget tastes and available time! Our Kenya to Cape is the “Ultimate Overland” but look to some of the equally, tried and tested trips that take in Africa’s famed destinations such as Kruger, the Masai Mara, the Serengeti, Okavango Delta, Namib Desert, Zanzibar and Cape Town. We can help you decide which is the best experience for you.
