Zanzibar's history is fascinating. It is the fabled Spice Island and one time centre for the slave trade. Stone Town, a world heritage site, seems to have stepped out of the Arabian Nights. Zanzibar is also an excellent destination for a leisurely beach holiday. The perfect conclusion to your East African visit.
Day 1. Arrive Zanzibar. You will be met on arrival and transferred to Stone Town or your beach resort (3 nights). D
Day 2-3. Enjoy the Spice Island. The day is spent at leisure enjoying optional activities. BD
Day 4. Zanzibar to Nairobi. After breakfast transfer to the airstrip for your onward flight to Nairobi, Mombasa or Arusha. B
