Goway Travel has announced that their Latin America Division expertise now extends to bilingual agents.
“Spanish is the world’s 2nd or 3rd most spoken language behind Mandarin and English. It is of course at the heart of our Latin product and for anyone travelling to Latin America, basic Spanish is a good addition, plus it is fun conversing in the native tongue. “ states Don Forster, Product & Marketing Mmanager for Goway’s specialist Latin America division.
“Goway’s Latin wholesale FIT, retail and groups departments are staffed by experts who only sell Latin America and part of that expertise includes three staff members who hail from South America, while another three others who are fluent in Spanish. We have noticed an increase in the number of Spanish speaking agents selling Latin America and if an agent is more comfortable speaking Spanish then we have staff who can assist.” continues Forster. “There are times when picking up the phone and speaking (in Spanish) to local operators is the fastest and most efficient way to operate, and we’re pleased that this is an undeniable advantage we have.”

It is an Incan Quipu. The Incans had no written word so communication other than face to face verbal was done via the Quipu – as was counting and mathematics. A Quipu usually consisted of colored, spun, and plied thread or strings from llama or alpaca hair. The cords contained numeric and other values encoded by knots in a base ten positional system. Some Quipus had a few cords some as many as 2,000 cords!
Quipu (pronounced k’ipu) is the word for “knot” in Quechua – the native Inca language
Just received a huge bouquet of flowers from my clients. I wish I could share them with you!! Thanks so much for your patience and help with the booking. Bev said there was not 1 glitch for 22 days And was the most incredible experience ever. Loved everything about it.
I want to thank you for the incredible trip we had to Costa Rica. Your suggestions for locations and accommodations were excellent and gave us an extremely memorable trip. The attention to detail was impressive and the arrangements made for each transfer were flawless. Each driver or guide was punctual, knowledgeable, friendly, caring and accommodating. The hotels were wonderful and especially we loved the Don Carlos in San Jose which was absolutely beautiful. We had a wonderful, worry free trip without a single flaw in the planning or execution. You did a fantastic job and we are very grateful.
An awesome documentary following a group of people who first sailed from Panama to Rapa Nui, surfing, then down Chiles coast, to several Chilean national parks, rock climbing, surfing, to climb mount Corcovado in Patagonia.
The film contrasts their journey with 2 friends who in the 1960s drove a bus down through South America to Patagonia. They were rock climbers and surfers, and they both started clothing companies: Patagonia and North Face… becoming millionaires, and they now fund charities in Chile. One of them joins the group to climb the mountain at the end…. really cool movie.

When sending your clients to New Zealand, they may want to venture into the cities of Auckland and Wellington for shopping and dining, but the true experience of visiting New Zealand is to explore the picturesque countryside and jaw-dropping National Parks.
For the free-spirited traveller keen to set their own pace, a motorhome vacation can’t be beaten; they gain the benefit of seeing it in their own time and the freedom to visit the locations they choose.
Leading company Maui builds all of their own motorhomes, and features the newest fleet of vehicles in New Zealand. Maui vehicles feature a gas stove, fridge, microwave and even a toilet and shower in most models. All vehicles include kitchen equipment, linens and bedding and several useful items; so after a quick orientation and briefing at the depot your clients can be out on the roads exploring the countryside!
Travelling at their own pace, they’ll find that the locals (“Kiwi’s as they are affectionately called) will happily recommend local attractions and sites of interest that are off the tourist track, plus their favourite local pub or restaurant.
Motorhomes are the most affordable, and flexible, way to explore New Zealand. Your clients gain all of the benefits of not packing and unpacking as they change hotels, the efficiencies of being able to buy fresh produce and cook on the stove or on a rented barbecue (available from Maui), and wake up to different scenery each day. As they journey between the North to South islands (or vice versa), your motorhome travels onboard the ferry – just make sure you book the desired crossing in advance, especially in the summer months!
Goway is offering a 15% discount on all rentals from 01 Nov 11 – 31 Mar 12 on select motorhomes. All offers must be booked through Goway by 11 Dec ’13 and are subject to availability at the time of reservation.
