ENCHANTING UBUD

Ubud is Bali's cultural heart, and the center of Balinese culture, arts and crafts. This area is located in the cool mountains, just 30km north of Denpasar airport and the resorts of southern Bali, this traditional country town is the home of the Balinese Royal family and a flourishing arts centre. Culture and history rich, most of Bali's museums and galleries are centered in Ubud. Visit these museums and galleries, as well as head to the Ubud Market to purchase anything from wood carvings, batik shirts, sarongs, paintings, and any types of souvenirs.
Day 1. Arrive Ubud.
Welcome! You will be met at the airport and transferred to your chosen hotel. After you check into your hotel in Ubud the remainder of the day is at leisure.
Day 2. Relaxing in Ubud.
This morning, you will be met at your hotel at 8:30 a.m. for a half day private tour of Ubud. Enjoy a walking tour to the nearby lush Rice paddies and then visit the famous "Monkey Forest,” a cluster of towering trees which are home to hundreds of monkeys who go about their way fearlessly in their temple haven. There are also hundreds of fruit bats who sleep by day and “hunt” by night. You will stop for lunch at a local restaurant, and then later, you will have the opportunity to stroll around the Ubud market before returning back to your hotel. You will be dropped off at approximately 3:00 p.m. Remainder of the day is at your leisure. (BL)
Day 3. Ubud at leisure.
The day is free until your transfer to the airport or your extension to other parts of the country. (B)
