Kunming - Stone Forest

Day 1. Arrive Kunming.
Upon arrival at Kunming airport, transfer to your hotel. Remainder of day at leisure.
Day 2. Stone Forest.
Located 126 kilometres to the south, the Stone forest is one of China's most remarkable natural phenomena. Towering peaks of bizarre shaped limestone, some as high as a 6 story building, cover an area of over 200 acres. A 2 kilometre long path winds through the deepest portion of the forest where one can see pavilions, caves and ponds each with its own legend. (BL)
Day 3. Touring Kunming.
A full day's sightseeing includes the Western Hills with wonderful views and several temples and pagodas, Dianchi Lake, one of the loveliest spots in Yunnan and surrounded by mountains, Dragon Gate and the Golden Temple. (BL)
