This Goway Classic inclusive tour gives you the very heart of India with its many mysteries and stories which are waiting to be unfolded. No visitor will ever return quite the same.

Day 1. Arrive Delhi. You will be met by Goway's representative and transferred to your hotel. India's capital, Delhi blends the old with the new providing an interesting combination. The remainder of the day is at leisure.
Please note that dinner is not included on the arrival night due to flight schedule into Delhi.
Day 2. Delhi sightseeing. A morning city tour will include the Parliament building, the Qutab Minar and Humayun's tomb. In the afternoon visit the Red Fort, Old Delhi, and Raj Ghat, the memorial monument for Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the Nation. BD
Day 3. Delhi to Varanasi. Fly to India's holiest city where you will be met and transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon, drive to Sarnath, the buried Buddhist city. BD
Day 4. In Varanasi. Take a boat ride on the holy River Ganges to see the extraordinary early morning activities taking place. This is an experience! Later, visit the Bharat Mata Temple. BD

Day 5. Varanasi to Khajuraho. Fly to Khajuraho, famous for its superb sculptures depicting aspects of Indian life over the centuries which, you will visit in the afternoon. BD
Day 6. Khajuraho to Agra. Travel by road to Jhansi (4 hours) where you will be put on the Shatabdi Express train for Agra (2.5 hours). On arrival in Agra, you will be met and transferred to your hotel for overnight. BD
Day 7. Agra to Jaipur. Agra is the home of the fabled Taj Mahal (closed Fridays). Wonder at the marvel of this marble monument to love built by Emperor Shah Jehan as a tomb for his beloved wife. Also visit Agra Fort which was built by Akbar the Great. In the afternoon, travel overland to Jaipur with a stop at Fatehpur Sikri, the ghost city built in 1569. Today, it is completely deserted and left in solitude as a reminder of older times. Arrive in Jaipur. BD
Day 8. In Jaipur. Known as the Pink City due to the colour of the stone used in its buildings, Jaipur has a timeless quality reflected in its bazaars and thoroughfares. In the morning, visit the Amber Palace with its magnificent views of the surrounding countryside and also ride an Elephant. In the afternoon, you will have a tour of the city including Stone Observatory and the City Palace. BD
Day 9. Jaipur to Udaipur. Fly to Udaipur, the city of lakes. With its fairy-tale palaces, attractive lakes and gardens, Udaipur, is a wonderful experience. The remainder of the day at leisure. BD
Day 10. In Udaipur. Today visit the City Palace, the Jagdish Temple, Gulab Nivas Garden followed by a cruise on beautiful Lake Pichola. BD
Day 11. Udaipur to Mumbai (Bombay). Fly to Mumbai, India's most Cosmopolitan City and most important commercial centre. Balance of the day at leisure. BD
Day 12. In Mumbai. In this city of contrasts, steeped in tradition and culture, your tour will include the Gateway of India, symbol of Bombay, Nariman Point and Malabar Hill. BD
Day 13. Mumbai to your next destination. Depart from this engaging land with many memories. B
