Delhi - Imperial Splendour

Day 1. Arrive Delhi.
On arrival in the capital of India you will be met by a Goway representative and transferred to your hotel by private car.
Day 2. Touring Delhi.
Today, you will embark on an exciting, full day tour of historic Delhi. First, you will visit the ancient capital, with its pageant of Indian history, from its origins around 1200 BC, through the periods under the Sultans in the 10th century, (seen in the Qutab complex), and the Moghuls from the 14th century, with the magnificent Red Fort. You will also see Jama Mosque, the largest mosque in India.
Finally, there is the New Delhi of the British Raj, majestically laid out next to the old city with its broad, tree-lined avenues, India Gate memorial, and imposing public buildings, which include the President Palace and Government Buildings. (B)

Today is free to further explore this endlessly colourful city before transferring to the airport for your onward flight. Stay longer if you wish. (B)
