Day 1. Arrive Delhi. On arrival, transfer to your Oberoi luxury hotel by Goway's representative. The remainder of the day is at leisure.
Day 2. Delhi sightseeing. A full day tour of Old and New Delhi. In the morning, visit Old Delhi – the 300 year old walled city built by Emperor Shah Jehan in 1648 as his capital, and visit The Red Fort (closed on Mondays), Jama Masjid and Raj Ghat, the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi also known as Father of Nation. In the afternoon, visit New Delhi with drive down the main avenue and see the impressive India Gate, the Qutab Minar, the Presidential Palace and the 16th Century tomb of Humayun. B
Day 3. Delhi to Jaipur. Depart by road for Jaipur. On arrival, check into your hotel. Remainder of the day at leisure to see this beautiful city. The Heritage Pink City gets its name from its founder Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. He was a great ruler and a renowned mathematician and astrologer. Jaipur has been called the first planned city of the country, with the entire city being divided into rectangular blocks and surrounded by a peripheral wall with huge gates guarding it. B
Day 4. Jaipur. In the morning, enjoy a tour of the city including visits to the City Palace and Museum, and the Jantar Mantar Observatory built in the 18th century by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. Later, journey back in time to the deserted 17th Century Amber Fortress and enjoy an unforgettable experience by ascending to the fortress by an Elephant. B
Day 5. Jaipur to Agra. Depart by road to Agra with a stop at Fatehpur Sikri, the Ghost city of Emperor Akbar the Great. Originally planned as the capital city, then was compelled to abandon due to shortage of water, this abandoned city was built with predominantly Red Sandstone in 1571 to 1585. It is one of the finest examples of Mughal architectural splendour at its height. Later, transfer to your hotel in Agra. B
Day 6. Agra sightseeing to Delhi. Early morning, see one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Taj Mahal, at sunrise. This extravagant monument of love was built by the Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife. Visit Agra Fort before depart by road for Delhi to your next destination. B

OPTIONAL EXTENSION TO SHIMLA OBEROI LUXURY RESORT

Snow laden peaks, picturesque waterfalls, green-carpeted valleys and the grand colonial bungalows reminiscent of a glorious past. Tread along the walkways to Summer Hill, and proceed to Chadwick Falls. Also visit the Himachal State Museum and The Viceregal Lodge, India's premier institute set amongst beautifully laid out gardens. B
Day 3. Mashobra. Today is a whole day at your leisure to enjoy the magnificent view of the mountain, or take a leisurely walk on the trails winding through fragrant pine forests. B
Day 4. Mashobra/Shimla/Delhi. After breakfast, check out of your hotel and transfer to the airport for your noon flight to Delhi and depart for your next destination. B
