A traditional Japanese Inn is called a Ryokan. Why not treat yourself to a totally different experience and stay at a typical Japanese Inn during your time in Japan. Below is Goway's recommended Ryokans, a visit to which will long be remembered.

Day 1. Kyoto.
On arrival, transfer from JR Kyoto Station to your choice of Ryokan. Remainder of the day at leisure to relax at your choice of Ryokan. (D)

Day 2. Kyoto sightseeing.
Morning tour includes the Golden Pavilion, Nijo Castle, the Kyoto Imperial Palace and the Kyoto Handicraft Centre. The afternoon is free to explore this fascinating city further. (BD)

Day 3. Kyoto to your next destination.
At leisure before being transferred to either the airport or the train station. (B)
