IMPERIAL TOKYO
3 days
Day 1. Arrive Tokyo.
Upon arrival into Tokyo, you will be met and given the appropriate bus tickets for the transfer to your hotel. The representative will show you the departure point for the bus. Check-in to your hotel and spend the remainder of the day at leisure.
Day 2. Tokyo sightseeing.
Today’s morning tour includes a half-day sightseeing around Tokyo. You will visit the Tokyo Tower observation deck offing excellent views of the city before heading to the Imperial Palace Plaza. Unfortunately, entrance inside the palace is forbidden but non-the-less, the gardens outside of the palace are beautiful and offer some excellent photo opportunities. Next visit Asakusa Kannon Temple & Nakamise Shopping Arcade. Later, drive through the Ueno area which offers a glimpse of what old Tokyo would have looked like without the high rises and the neon of the shopping arcades. The tour will disband upon arrival at Akihabara or Tokyo Station where you will make your own way back to the hotel (Goway's representative will assist). The afternoon is free to explore this amazing city at your leisure. We recommend a visit to the Ginza and maybe Harajuku Street famous for its trendy shops and anime style fashions. (B)
Day 3. Tokyo to your next stop.
Today transfer by airport bus to Narita Airport. (B)
