The city of Gyeongju is an internationally acclaimed cultural and historic area. As the capital of the Silla Kingdom for almost a thousand years, Gyeongju preserves vast amount of significant and fascinating historical heritages. Along with Bulguksa Temple and Seokguram Grotto, the Gyeongju Historical District has been designated as a World Heritage by UNESCO. Then head down to the south eastern coast to Busan, the second largest city in South Korea. Busan is the principal port of Korea, and has been an important trade center for fishing. Busan also boasts scenic visions of nature; its landscape includes a coastline with fine beaches and tall mountains.
Due to the bountiful historical, natural and cultural attractions, these regions have been a major tourist destination in Korea.
Seokguram Grotto, Gyeongju
Day 1. Seoul/Gyeongju.
You will be transferred to Seoul station for the morning express train to Gyeongju. Upon arrival in Gyeongju, you will be met and taken to your choice of hotel for 2 nights accommodation. In the afternoon, you will visit the Royal Tumuli Park, Gyeongju National Museum and Anapji Pond.
Day 2. Gyeongju.
Today is a full day's sightseeing in Gyeongju including the Seokguram Grotto, Bulguksa Temple and the Gyeongju Arts and Crafts centre. (BL)
Day 3. Gyeongju/Busan.
Transfer to Busan by road. On arrival, check into your choice of hotel. Today, your tour of Busan will take you to Busan Tower, Yongdusan Park, The International Market, the Fish Market and Taejongdae Ocean Park. (BL)
Day 4. Busan.
Today you will visit Nurimary APEC House, Haeundae Beach, Busan Aquarium, UN Memorial Cemetery, Busan Municipal Museum and Yongungsa Seaside Temple. (BL)
Day 5. Busan/Seoul.
Depart by express train to Seoul in the morning ending the tour at Seoul station. (B)
