Day 1. Arrive Colombo.
On arrival in the capital of Sri Lanka, you will be met by a Goway representative and transferred to your hotel by private car.
Day 2. Touring Colombo.
This morning leave for a half-day sightseeing tour of Colombo. Drive through the commercial area of the 'Fort' so named, because both the Portuguese and Dutch had a fort at this point.
Drive pass 'Pettah', a noisy Oriental bazaar with a hodge podge of humanity, ancient vehicles, bargains, mosques and temples. Visit both a Hindu and Buddhist temple and the Jumi-ul Alfar Jumma Mosque. Continue with the tour through the Wolvenhal Dutch Church and Hultsdorf Law Courts, to the residential area of Cinnamon Gardens and on to the Independence Square and the National Museum. (B)
Day 3. Colombo to your next stop.
Today is free to further explore this endlessly colourful city before transferring to the airport for your onward flight. Stay longer if you wish. (B)
