This is the only tour to the Hunter Region that offers the real Aussie Outback, history, Aboriginal culture and wine tasting in a full one day experience. Meet some of the locals, travel through beautiful National Parks, learn of the harsh days of the settlers and convict conditions as they worked here to establish European Australia.
2 Day Gourmet Eco Escape
Day 1. Sydney - Hunter Valley. Depart your Sydney accommodation and travel north over the Harbour Bridge, past the Hawkesbury River and then through contrasting rural farmland, Australian native bush, mountain ranges and grazing land.
Your journey takes you over Mt View where you gain a panoramic perspective of the Hunter Valley wine areas. From here, adjourn to a renowned Vineyard Café to enjoy lunch. During the afternoon take the opportunity to sample some of the Hunter Valley's famous wines at 2 respected boutique wineries and have the opportunity to purchase wines that are not available anywhere else. Arrive at your accommodation at approx. 2:30 pm with the remainder of the afternoon free to relax. L
Day 2. Hunter Valley - Sydney. This morning after a full buffet breakfast you will depart your accommodation. Enjoy a further wine tasting at a boutique winery plus chocolate tasting before returning to Sydney at approximately 5.30pm. B
