SYDNEY ROCK & REEF

Day 1 - Arrive Sydney. Transfer to your hotel.
Day 2. Sydney. This morning during your guided walking tour of Sydney's historic "The Rocks" area, you will enjoy views of the harbour and see historic buildings and sandstone stairs whilst wandering through the many alleyways. Your guide will tell you the story of the settlement of New South Wales. This afternoon we take a city tour past the Opera House, Botanical Gardens and the southern beaches including Bondi.
Day 3. Sydney. Take a cruise on Sydney Harbour today, including stops at the Rocks, Opera House, Watson's Bay and Taronga Zoo.
Your ticket is flexible enabling you to take any of the 8 daily departures, spending as long as you wish at each stop before rejoining the cruise. Entrance to the Taronga Zoo is included, where you can see many native animals including kangaroos, koalas and the adorable platypus.
Day 4. Sydney to Ayers Rock. Transfer to the airport for the flight to Ayers Rock. On arrival, transfer to your chosen accommodation. In the afternoon, enjoy a visit to the Olgas (Kata Tjuta) to watch the sunset.
Day 5. Ayers Rock to Cairns. An early start this morning to witness the impressive sunrise and take a tour the spectacular monolith, Ayers Rock. After your tour, you will be transferred back to the airport for your onward flight to Cairns (airfare not included), and transfer to your accommodation.
Day 6. Cairns. Travel on Quicksilver's magnificent wave-piercing catamaran to the very outer edge of the Great Barrier Reef. You can choose whether to dive, snorkel or view the abundant sea life from the underwater observatory, or semi-submersible submarine. A delicious smorgasbord lunch is included. L
Day 7. Cairns. Enjoy a full day tour incorporating Kuranda scenic rail journey, Skyrail and Aboriginal dance performance. L
Day 8. Depart Cairns. At leisure until you are transferred to the airport to connect with your ongoing flight. Stay longer if you wish.
