SOUNDS OF SILENCE DINNER

Mala Walk Tour
A cultural tour for those who don't want to rise with the sun! This cultural tour includes a vehicle-based tour of the rock and an Aboriginal Guided Walk. Learn the sensitive story of the Mala (Hare Wallaby) people who lived at Uluru, with their friend the Itjaritjari (marsupial mole). Along the Mala Walk visit the many painted caves of the Mala people, and learn how they lived and prepared for ceremonies at the base of Uluru. Visit sacred Kantju Gorge, a quiet water hole at the base of a dramatic rock face.

Dot Painting Workshop
Join Aboriginal artists at the Uluru Cultural Centre for a fascinating introduction to Aboriginal art and the chance to join the artists to try your own hand. Aboriginal Guides provide an introduction to their culture and how this is expressed in their art works. Join the artists to complete your own painting, which you can take home as a memento of the experience.

WANGI FALLS & LITCHFIELD PARK
Leaving Darwin behind we travel south along the Stuart Highway towards Litchfield National Park, which is one of the Northern Territory's newest parks. On our way to Batchelor, we pass old wartime airstrips. Inspect the attractive township, viewing the miniature castle "Karlstein Castle". Entering the National Park we make the rocky climb into the Tabletop Range. As we enter the area, we will come across countless termite mounds.
View Florence Falls from a lookout then make our way down through the magnificent open valley to the plunge pool below. We continue to Tolmer Falls to take in spectacular views and venture onto Wangi Falls where there is a serene crystal clear pool and time is given here for you to relax and swim if you wish. After lunch we make our way to Howard Springs Nature Park where you will be able to swim with the barramundi and turtles.

KATHERINE DAY TOUR
Travel south through tropical country passing former WWII airstrips en route to Adelaide River. A morning tea break is given and it is here that you will be able to meet one of the stars of 'Crocodile Dundee ". Continue on to Edith Falls in Nitmiluk National Park.
A picnic lunch is included once we reach Katherine Gorge. Then we join a 2 hour scenic cruise with opportunity for seeing Johnston crocodiles sunning themselves on the banks and many interesting species of birdlife. After the cruise enjoy a brief tour of Katherine. We make a short stop at the Adelaide River War Cemetery and an evening stop at Adelaide River is made where you may purchase dinner (own expense).
Duration: 6:35 am - 8:30 pm (approx.) Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday. Does not operate on Christmas Day.
WILDLIFE SPECTACULAR (INCLUDING JUMPING CROCODILE)
Visit the magnificent Territory Wildlife Park - catch the free shuttle train around the park to see animals found in the Northern territory such as kangaroos, water buffalo, banteng, camels and dingoes.
Walk through the aquarium tunnel where barramundi, turtles and stingrays swim overhead. Continue to the Crocodile Farm to see these fearsome reptiles being fed. A visit to Adelaide river is where we take our afternoon Jumping Crocodile cruise. Return to Darwin via Fogg Dam Nature Reserve and Window on the Wetlands Visitor Centre.

KAKADU IN A DAY
A tour for those with limited time, you will be introduced to some of Kakadu's unique natural features, the wetlands, its significant wildlife and ancient rock art. Leaving Darwin, travel the Arnhem Highway passing the settlement of Humpty Doo then across the Adelaide River and Marrakai Plains. A wide selection of native wildlife including wallabies, jabiru, egrets, brolga and Magpie Geese, have made this region their home.
Stop at Nourlangie where your guide will lead a walk to view ancient Aboriginal rock art. After lunch we join our local guide for a cruise on the famous Yellow Waters Billabong. Search for the saltwater crocodiles and the colourful range of birdlife this region is renowned for. Visit the Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Centre and view the informative displays depicting the traditions of the Aboriginal people in Kakadu. Your final call is at the nearby township of Jabiru.
