Enjoy Cairns, the rainforests of Kuranda, the Outer Barrier Reef plus an idyllic getaway to Australia's favourite resort island. This idea combines well with our classic Sydney /Canberra /Melbourne.
Day 1. Arrive Cairns. You will be transferred to your hotel as chosen below. The remainder of the day is at leisure.
Day 2. Kuranda Experience. Transfer to the Cairns railway station for the beautiful narrow gauge train ride to Kuranda. Today you will enjoy a unique Aboriginal cultural performance, a tour through the rainforest on an amphibious army duck and a ride on Skyrail. L
Day 3. Cairns to Dunk Island.Transfer to Dunk Island where you will spend the next three nights enjoying the activities available on the island. These activities include a six hole golf course in a fabulous setting, tennis, archery, horse riding, sailing and cruising. World class light tackle and big game fishing can also be arranged.
Days 4 & 5. Dunk Island. Free to enjoy Dunk Island with its many top class facilities. B
Day 6. Dunk Island to Cairns. More time to enjoy Dunk Island before taking the ferry to the mainland and returning to Cairns. Overnight at your chosen hotel. B
Day 7. Cairns to your next stop. Today is at leisure to enjoy Cairns until you are transferred to the airport for your onward flight.
