INTRODUCTION
The Ozback Explorer Rail Cruise is a totally new way to tour Australia because it offers fully packaged tours of the highlights of Australia all by a fully serviced hotel train. From Sydney, the Blue Mountains, Canberra, Melbourne, Adelaide - including the wine regions, plus Kangaroo Island and Alice Springs, the Ozback Explorer will take you through Australia's icons and much more.
Ozback Explorer is a heritage train that has been refurbished as a mobile hotel, saving precious vacation time by travelling at night when guests are asleep. Guests awake each day fresh and ready to face a full day of discovery through the variety of touring options available.
Ozback Explorer provides great flexibility and freedom of choice by offering up to 3 touring options each day, at no extra cost. Every morning, the air-conditioned mini-buses transported onboard the train, are unloaded for the live-in guides to take guests on their chosen daily excursion to discover Australia's wonders. These excursions provide an understanding of Australian history and geography, together with flora, fauna and culture. Extra options are also available for activities not included in the itinerary (additional cost).
Ozback Explorer Rail Cruise packages are fully inclusive tours providing all accommodation, train transportation, daily guided touring, all entry fees (where applicable), plus breakfast daily. On board there are 3 public area carriages and 4 styles of private compartments to choose from.
