Victoria Extension Ideas
SOVEREIGN HILL & BALLARAT
You will be collected from your hotel and taken on a full day tour of Sovereign Hill, Gold Fields and Ballarat city tour. Experience Sovereign Hill and learn about the history of the gold rush and life in the 1850's – pan for gold and go down into the underground mine for a guided tour.
Enjoy unique period style shopping along with real life characters and entertainment. Host of activities available including stage coach rides costume photos and much more (own expense). See traditional blacksmiths and craftsmen shilling these trades. Choice of home-style bakery or sit down style café restaurant, for a great variety of food and snacks.

GREAT OCEAN ROAD
You will be collected from your hotel and taken on a full day tour of the Great Ocean road. Cross the Westgate Bridge for panoramic views of Port Phillip Bay and drive through Victoria's second largest town, Geelong. Pass through Torquay (surfing capital), then visit Australia's famous surf beach – 'Bells Beach' (featured in the movie 'Point Break').
Travel along the famous Great Ocean Road – offering some of the most fascinating and diverse coastal scenery that Australia has to offer, including golden sandy beaches, sheer cliff faces, surf beaches and amazing rock formations (many photo stops). Pass through coastal towns of Lorne, Wye River and see the amazing Cape Patton Lookout. Stop at scenic Apollo Bay for lunch (own expense). Travel through The Otway National Park, silent and untouched. Many opportunities to photograph stunning scenery such as the stone monoliths of the Twelve Apostles, Lock Ard Gorge – the site of the tragic shipwreck and London Bridge. Early return to Melbourne via Colac and Winchelsea arriving into Melbourne.

GREAT OCEAN ROAD – BY AIR
Tour departs in the morning for flights to the town of Warrnambool, where you are met by a local guide and private car for tour. After a brief tour of this historic seafaring town, visit the "Shipwreck Coast" where, at Port Campbell, you stop for a gourmet lunch featuring some of the superb local wines. From here it is on to the Twelve Apostles and Loch Ard Gorge, before returning to the aircraft for a flight along the Great Ocean Road, past some of Victoria's most sought after holiday retreats, before a tour of the city of Melbourne. Price includes roundtrip city transfers, scenic flights with in-flight catering, private car ground tour with guide, gourmet picnic lunch with wine.

COLONIAL TRAMCAR DINNER
Enjoy dinner aboard the world's only working tramcar restaurant. The oldest tram in Melbourne dates back to 1927, its tone is reminiscent of the Orient Express. The tram travels leisurely along Melbourne's grand leafy boulevards, beneath century old Dutch elms and serene views. The Colonial Tramcar Restaurant is a delightful and novel way to experience the sights and tastes of Melbourne.

THE GRAMPIANS - ONE DAY TOUR
You will be collected from your hotel and taken on a full day tour to The Grampians. The sheer majesty of the Grampians National Park is inspiring – rugged cliffs and waterfalls form a spectacular vision. The surrounding wilderness yields thousands of species of Australia's native flora and fauna, where visitors can mingle with kangaroos and emus in their natural habitat. An easy walk to Mackenzie Falls reveals a spectacular series of waterfalls. Enjoy incredible views at Boroka lookout and the Balconies.

You will be collected from your hotel and taken on a full day tour that includes Echuca, Tram Tour, Historical Port, Boat Cruise, Steam Engines and Crafts. Discover the glory of Bendigo, a classic Australian township (following the trail of the overland Cattle Drovers), and tour aboard the vintage 'Talking Tram'. Visit historical Port of Echuca and journey along the Murray River on an original Paddle steamer Boat (1 hour cruise).
