Connect with the people of Africa, and gain insight into the cultural diversity of this vibrant region. Visit special energy centers and places of breathtaking natural beauty, where you can relax, meditate and walk. Much will be experienced and seen; your heart and spirit will be touched, healed and transformed. Embark on this journey for the soul!
Day 1. Fly North America to Cape Town
Day 2. Arrive Cape Town (D)
On arrival at OR Tambo International Airport (Johannesburg), you will be met and assisted to domestic departures for your onward connection to Cape Town. On arrival at Cape Town International Airport you will be met by our local representative / drive and your guide who will assist you to your awaiting coach. Porters will be arranged to assist with transporting of your luggage to the coach. Transfer to your hotel for check-in.
This evening enjoy the Africa Gold Restaurant, with its vibrant, eclectic Pan-African experience in the heart of Cape Town. A typical evening starts off with the drumbeat of the Djembe drum (an interactive drum circle offers you the opportunity to join in and learn how to play the Djembe). Afterward you are led into the ancient courtyards, where cuisine from the Cape Malay and African kitchen are served.

Day 3. Cape Town City Tour (B)
This morning after breakfast you will be met by your coach driver and tour guide, for departure on the ultimate 'Mother City' experience - designed to orientate you and give you an insight into the magic of Cape Town.
Highlights will include the historic tour through the Malay Quarter and the colourful Bo-Kaap, a scenic tour past the Parliament Buildings, City Hall and the Company Gardens.
Today you will also spend time ascending Table Mountain by cable car (weather permitting). Table Mountain is considered one of the most powerful energy centres of planet earth. You will have time to explore, walk and meditate on top of the mountain.

Day 4. Cape Town Township Tour (B)
Today we set off on a township tour to experience life in the African suburbs, taking in Langa township with a visit to Tsoga Environmental Centre, which is a community based organization, with varied educational programs that include food gardening, recycling and literacy.
This afternoon we walk in the footsteps of Nelson Mandela, with a 3 hour cruise and tour to Robben Island. Robben Island, the infamous prison where Nelson Mandela spent over 20 years incarceration. A place of detention, grief and misery for 400 years, this island situated in Table Bay is now a monument to reconciliation and a living example of hope.

Day 5. Cape Winelands Tour (B)
This morning we drive to Paarl Rock, 'sister of Table Mountain' for an attunement at this ancient sacred site and the second oldest granite outcrop of its kind on the planet.
This afternoon we will take a tour of the Wineland regions of the Cape to visit Franschhoek, Stellenbosch, the second oldest city in South Africa and Paarl. During the tour we will do some wine tasting at a selection of the local wine estates before returning late afternoon to Cape Town.

Day 6. Cape Peninsula Tour (B)
Today, we enjoy a full day tour of the Cape Peninsula. We travel along the Atlantic seaboard to Hout Bay, for a seal island cruise, before continuing onto the Cape Point Nature Reserve, where you are able to ride the Funicular to the view point where the Indian and Atlantic Oceans meet. After leaving the nature reserve we proceed to Simonstown with a short stop at Boulders Beach to see the colony of African penguins. Return to Cape Town later this afternoon.

Day 7. Cape Town to Pretoria (B)
After breakfast, check out of your hotel and transfer to Cape Town International Airport for your local flight to Johannesburg (OR Tambo International Airport).
On arrival at OR Tambo International Airport (Johannesburg), you will be assisted to your awaiting coach and commence with an orientation tour of Pretoria. Tracing South Africa's extraordinary history, while visiting some of the imposing museums and monuments in 'Jacarada City' - known for its beautiful purple lined streets when the jacaranda trees are in full bloom.
Enjoy a visit to the Apartheid Museum, which takes you on a fascinating, horrifying, humbling and inspiring journey from the dark days of 'whites only' privilege through to Nelson Mandela's historic release from prison. From here we take you through the streets of the sprawling township of Soweto. Soweto - acronym for South Western Township, is home to over 2 million people who, despite living in crowded and chaotic conditions, have a tangible sense of community.

Day 8. Pretoria to Tzaneen (B)
Today we depart early travelling via the Valley of the Kings, in Magaliesburg, where Vuzamazulu Credo Mutwo lives, before travelling on to Tzaneen.
We meet with local Zulu High Sunusi, Credo Mutwa and learn for the work he is doing in the fight against AIDS using local herbs. Credo is widely regarded as the spiritual leader of the Zulu's, and is one of the few 'spiritual elders' remaining in this world who carries an ancient knowledge and wisdom that have been lost to most of mankind. Credo is a remarkable yet humble man. His books include Indaba my Children, Song of the Stars, Isilwane among others - a truly remarkable being.
After spending some time here and allowing us the unique opportunity and privilege of spending real quality time with Credo, we make our way northwards onto Tzaneen.

Day 9. Tzaneen Area (B)
After breakfast, the coach and guide leads you through a number of small villages where you can see the Dzata VhaVenda Ruins, soak up the mystical atmosphere of the Sacred Forest, feel your spirit come alive at Lake Fundudzi and experience a rural Spa, where locals believe the warm waters pass through the belly of a giant python before bubbling out on the surface.
Today is also set aside for a visit to the realm of Modjadji, the Rain Queen. With a bit of luck, we may even lay eyes upon her!

Day 10. Tzaneen to Pretoria (B)
Today we head back toward Johannesburg, with a stop at Lesedi Cultural Village where families from various tribes live in traditional homestead, here you enjoy a tour of the village and a traditional African lunch before returning to your hotel. Afternoon at leisure.

Day 11. Pretoria to Bulawayo (B)
After breakfast, check out of your hotel and transfer to OR Tambo International Airport (Johannesburg) for your regional flight to Bulawayo.
**Please note the flight from Johannesburg to Bulawayo might be routed via Harare or Victoria Falls.
On arrival at Bulawayo Airport, you will be assisted to your awaiting coach and transferred through to your hotel.

Day 12. Matobo Hills Area (B)
Today we head into the Matobo Hills, which is guaranteed to send a thrill down your spine. It is the resting place of the famous Cecil John Rhodes, whose body was taken by train from Cape Town to be buried here in accordance with his dying wishes.
Spend time exploring the hills, where mysterious nomads once held their sacred ceremonies and visit the rocks known to the local people, that hold spiritual significance of bye-gone rituals. The rocky granite topography boasts more the 2000 sites of the San Bushmen tribes and is probably the richest source of San rock art known.
Enjoy a visit to an African homestead and interact with the local Matabele people and meet a 'traditional healer' at the rural clinic.
Later this afternoon we make our way back to Bulawayo.

Day 13. Bulawayo / Victoria Falls (B)
After breakfast, check out of your hotel and transfer to Bulawayo Airport for your local flight to Victoria Falls.
On arrival at Victoria Falls Airport, you will be assisted to your awaiting coach and transferred through to your hotel.

Day 14. Victoria Falls (BD)
Depart on a morning tour to Victoria Falls, one of the seven natural wonders of the world. Walk through the rain forest, stopping at several vantage points to view the Main Falls, Horseshoe Falls, Rainbow Falls, the Boiling Point, Cataract Island and Livingstone Island. This Victoria Falls is where you will be in attune to the spirits of the mighty Zambezi River (from the Zimbabwe side of the Falls).
Spend the rest of the day at leisure exploring this quaint town, alternatively for the more adventurous enjoy the many additional day activities on offer (own account) - from white water rafting, bungee jumping, helicopter flips over the Falls and so much more.
This evening you will transferred to the Boma at Victoria Falls Safari Lodge. The Boma is an African feast to savour - not only the food, but also the cultural aspect: Songomas (witch doctors) will tell you your fortune, African performers dance and sing, drumming sessions will help you unwind - a real African extravaganza!

Day 15. Fly Victoria Falls to Johannesburg & Johannesburg to North America (B)
Spend your last morning taking in the beauty of this area, before you are transferred back to Victoria Falls Airport for you return flight to Johannesburg, arriving in plenty of time to board your international flight home.
