The largest selling/training forum comes to Canada
Over 20 Tourism Boards, Airlines and Tour Operators have come together to present the South Pacific Symposium 2004 , organized by Goway Travel, Canada’s leading specialist operator to Downunder. The Symposium has become North America’s largest selling training forum for the South Pacific. This year it will visit 38 cities across North America, including 10 in Canada.
“There is tremendous pent up demand for travellers to now venture further from home as long as their destinations are safe, friendly, laid back, fun, interesting and offer great value for money” claimed Bruce Hodge, President of 34 year old Goway. “That is what the South Pacific offers and our symposium is designed to ignite or recharge agents’ enthusiasm for selling these wonderful destinations.”
The South Pacific Symposium 2004 is supported by Qantas, Air New Zealand, Air Tahiti Nui and Air Pacific as well as Australian Tourist Boards from New South Wales, Northern Territory, Victoria, South Australia, Tasmania and Queensland plus the New Zealand Tourist Board, Tahiti Tourism and Cook Island Tourism. Tour operators include Rail Australia, AAT Kings, Horizon New Zealand, Maui Motorhomes and Car Rentals, Pearl Resorts of Tahiti, Blue Lagoon Cruises, plus Castaway and Outrigger of Fiji. Goway will also be launching the 2004/5 edition of their award winning DOWNUNDER catalogue.
