Experience the Magic of Africa

Africa is the world’s second largest and second most populous continent, after Asia, occupying over 20% of the Earth’s total land area. As such it offers visitors an incredible diversity of culture, landscapes, history and wildlife.

South Africa, often referred to as a “world in one country”, is home to a number of iconic experiences, and is one of the most visited countries in the African continent, with over 200,000 visitors from North America each year.

Travellers looking for a special “Holiday of a Lifetime” are increasingly choosing AFRICAExperts‘ 16-18 Day “Magic of Africa“. Priced affordably at $8549, this fully escorted tour includes the services of an experienced Goway guide throughout, first class or deluxe class hotels, 15 breakfasts, 8 lunches and 8 dinners, airfare with South African Airways, all flights in Africa, and a comprehensive sightseeing program.

The tour commences in Cape Town, and explores the rugged beauty of the Cape Peninsula before continuing to the Cape Winelands, home to Route 62, the world’s longest wine route. Travelling overland to Port Elizabeth, the journey continues via Oudtshoorn, famous for it’s ostrich industry, and Plettenburg Bay to get a glimpse of the rare Indo-Pacific Humpback Dolphins or the Bryde’s Whales.

A short flight brings the group into Durban and continues overland via St. Lucia into Zululand to visit an authentic “Kraal” (homestead). Travelling into Swaziland, the group continues to the Kruger National Park for an open safari in search of the “Big 5″. After spending time at Lion Sands Lodge overlooking the Sabi River, with time for more game drives, the group continues onto Johannesburg. An optional 2-day journey to Victoria Falls is available, which is considered to be the largest curtain of falling water in the world, and also a sunset cruise on the “African Queen” on the mighty Zambezi River.

Goway Is Experiencing Real Growth For Japan

Japan has come to the fore as one of Goway’s major destinations, due in part to the image of Japan as an affordable and attractively varied destination. However, the increased demand also reflects Japan as a safe and civilized country for travellers. The combination of the traditional and the progressive aspects of Japan give it an excellent overall appeal in the North American market.

Goway’s tours take into account the need to see the well known and highly popular cities such as Tokyo and Kyoto as well as the need to see the lesser known but equally attractive parts of Japan such as Hakone, Takayama and Kanazawa.

Japan is very easy to get around due to the excellent and efficient rail service; travelling from one city to another is very quick and eliminates time involved checking in at airports for flights.

Goway offers 3 day stopovers in Tokyo, Kyoto, Nagoya and Hiroshima. Additional nights can be added as necessary to extend the stay, and excursions can be taken to traditional sites such as Nikko from Tokyo and Nara from Kyoto.

For travellers looking to join the Tokyo and Kyoto packages, Goway offers a 2 day Hakone National Park package starting in Tokyo and finishing in Kyoto from $573.

More intensive planned itineraries include the 9-day Classic Japan Getaway which visits Tokyo, Hakone, Kyoto and Hiroshima with travel between cities by Bullet Train. The package includes air travel with Japan Airlines, hotel accommodation, breakfast daily and sightseeing and transfers. Prices start from $3439 from Vancouver.

Also available is the 9 day Japan in Depth tour which visits Tokyo, Hakone National Park, Takayama, Kanazawa and Kyoto. Prices start from $3689 per person from Vancouver.

Goway also offers accommodation at Traditional Japanese Inns known as “Ryokan”. They offer an insight into how the Japanese would spend their leisure time. These vary in price depending on the style required and Goway has a good selection in Kyoto and Hakone National Park. Breakfast and dinner are always included as is genuine warm Japanese hospitality. For more details on Traditional Japanese Inns, visit our website. Prices start from $682 per person for a 3 day stay.
