Zambia is the perfect destination for a walk through the wilderness with its abundant game, and boasts one of the largest concentrations of wildlife in the world. Expert local guides can take travelers near the action and on a real safari experience of a lifetime. Here you have the opportunity to see lions, elephants, leopards, hippos and wild dogs which are all common in this area. Experience a combination of both day and night walks and witness game drives in diverse habitats. Explore a series of seven ox-bow lagoons around Chamilandu and Chindeni and see the numerous species of birds it attracts and the animals that drink from there.

Goway’s South Luangwa Encounter has a great offer for an 8 night walking safari package and just pay for only 6 nights, from $5209 CAD with a savings of $797. This trip includes accommodations in a bush camp, meals, return transfers, park entrance fees, professional guides, land transportation, flights from Livingstone to Mfuwe and Mfuwe to Lusaka.

Zambia, particularly South Luangwa, is the pioneer of the walking safari and considered a place to see the real Africa that is unspoiled with few tourists. Bush camps allow visitors to live in luxury in the middle of the wild with amazing vantage points of animals and nature surroundings.

Namibia was chosen as the first location for the 10th anniversary of the TODAYShow’s popular “Where in the World is Matt Lauer?” series. This show features Lauer’s exotic travels around the world and Namibia was selected by NBC producers to kick off the week-long series, thanks to the country’s stunning scenic landscapes, incredible wildlife and successful conservation initiatives.

At the start of the TODAY show, Namibia was revealed by Lauer standing atop a sand dune and then sand boarding down. Lauer remarked, “We’re in one of the most amazing countries we’ve been to in the ten years I’ve been doing this series. It’s like something out of a movie.”

The TODAY show’s crew experienced a number of regions which Goway offers in Namibia. These range from the stunning Sossusvlei dunes to the starkly beautiful Damaraland. Lauer marveled at the conservation success story of Namibia, including the protection of the unique and endangered desert-adapted black rhino.

Goway offers a variety of different ways to experience Namibia. These include the unique ‘cruising on wheels’ experience aboard the Shongololo Dune Express. The train travels at night, and in the morning the knowledgeable multi-lingual guides offload their customized air-conditioned Mercedes vehicles and guests spend the day exploring the area. In 2012, only two trips are being operated in June and the 13 day journey starts at $3639 CAD. This includes accommodation, transfers, sightseeing, dinner and breakfast.

Travellers with specific interests can choose either the 7-day Southern Namibia from $1866 CAD or the 7-day Northern Namibia circuit from $2273 CAD. Combined they form the 15-day Classic Namibia which includes the Fish River Canyon, Sossusvlei, Swakopmund, Damaraland, Etosha National Park and Windhoek. Prices start from $3957CAD and include most meals, all transportation and sightseeing with a qualified driver/guide. Namibia is a vast country so for travellers with limited vacation time, Goway’s AFRICAExperts have designed the 7-day Best of Namibia Flying Safari priced from $5712 CAD.

Michelle Obama was accompanied by daughters Sasha and Malia, mother Marian Robinson, and her niece and nephew. At The Table Bay Hotel, Mrs. Obama stayed in the Table Mountain Suite with stunning views of Table Mountain. True to form, the First Lady was a gracious and warm guest, exuding a down-to-earth sophistication and elegance. During her two-day stay in Cape Town, the First Lady had a very full schedule, including meeting with Archbishop Desmond Tutu and University of Cape Town students and touring the historic District Six Museum before leaving South Africa.

To qualify as a Goway Stay of Distinction, a property must not only be outstanding in every aspect, but must also have character, style, location and other contributing assets. Cape Town’s celebrated Table Bay Hotel fulfils all these criteria and has been the preferred hotel of choice for heads of state, dignitaries, royalty and celebrities since welcoming Nelson Mandela as their first guest in 1997. Barack Obama first stayed at The Table Bay Hotel as a Senator from Illinois, while Charlize Theron, Céline Dion, Sean Connery, Robert De Niro, Madeleine Albright, and Snoop Dogg have all called the award-winning Table Bay Hotel home while visiting Cape Town.

On the heels of Michelle Obama, Oscar-nominated actor Djimon Hounsou and Kimora Lee Simmons, fashion designer and reality TV star of “Life in the Fab Lane”, stayed at The Table Bay Hotel for the weeklong activities leading up to Nelson Mandela International Day on July 18 (Mandela’s birthday). On Nelson Mandela International Day, recognized by the United Nations, people are encouraged to give 67 minutes of their time to a humanitarian activity, just as Mandela spent 67 years fighting for the betterment of South Africa.

The Table Bay Hotel, a Sun International property and a member of The Leading Hotels of the World, is located on the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront and embodies all the tradition, grace and elegance befitting a five-star property while still maintaining its own unique nautical character. Discover more about The Table Bay Hotel.

One of the unique upmarket products featured is the Elewana sky safari. Considering the trend for shorter vacations that offer a true escape from the daily grind of modern life, the sky safari offers an incredible 8-day itinerary travelling in a luxurious executive aircraft staying in some of the leading lodges in this diverse region of East Africa.

“A sky safari may sound like an oxymoron, but when you consider the immense size of Tanzania, it is a logical and time efficient way to cover the vast dis¬tances between the iconic parks of Northern Tanzania, including the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire National Park, and Lake Manyara National Park’ said Emma Cottis, Marketing Manager for Goway.

The only one of it’s kind, the Elewana Sky Safari includes all of Northern Tanzania’s core highlights and offers an unparalleled game viewing and cultural experience. The deluxe 8-day sky safari starts at CA$6643.
