LIONS CLUBS INT’L CONVENTION IN BUSAN, KOREA, JUNE 22-26, 2012
Goway Travel is proud to be again partnering with Lions Clubs International as a preferred North American travel operator for the Lions Clubs International Convention taking place in Busan, Korea from June 22-26, 2012. Lions in your community will be joining fellow members from all parts of the world in one of the most fascinating countries in the world in an exciting and motivational 5 days of Lions fellowship.
Busan is South Korea’s largest port and second-largest metropolis. There’s plenty in the city to see and do in the time away from the convention: take in the views from Busan Tower located in Yongdusan Park, visit the Yi Sun-shin statue, the Jagalchi fish market, the U.N. Cemetery (where fallen U.N. soldiers from the Korean War are buried) and the informative Municipal Museum. Before or after the convention, Lions can discover more of Korea: the international shopping mecca of Seoul; the ancient city of Gyeongju with its temples, pagodas, and royal tombs; intriguing Jeju Island or even Yeosu to visit World Expo 2012.
