Imagine... exciting Bangkok, cultural Chiang Mai and one of Thailand's most popular beach resorts - Phuket! Itinerary includes all transfers in Thailand between airports/hotels/resort, half-day City & Temples tour in Bangkok, a City tour of Chiang Mai and a tour to a tropical island from Phuket.
Day 1. Arrive Bangkok. You will be met by Goway's representative and transferred to your hotel. The balance of day at leisure.
Day 2. Bangkok. Today you will enjoy a private tour to The Grand Palace, Chakri Maha Prasad, one of the most beautiful samples of an ancient Thai court which was the former residence for the Thai kings. Here you will admire The Reception Hall, the Coronation Hall, the Funeral Hall and the beautiful Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Keo). One can easily visualize the splendor & pageantry of the past. Ladies and gentlemen are required to dress suitably.
Proceed to Wat Po, home of the enormous Reclining Buddha and one of the oldest and largest temples in Bangkok. Here the Traditional Medicine Practitioners of Bangkok have their headquarters and Traditional Thai Massage is taught and practiced here.
The afternoon is at leisure to enjoy a massage or some shopping in one of the many complexes or outdoor markets. Enjoy a leisurely evening with a delicious genuine Thai dinner, set in a delightful Thai atmosphere. The meal is accompanied by Thai classical music and dances. The dancers with their beautiful glittering costumes and exquisite graceful movement will stay in your memory forever. BD
Bangkok, Thailand
Day 3. Bangkok. Once again, enjoy a full day private tour to the unique floating markets of Damnoen Saduak in the Ratchaburi Province, approx. 80 km southwest of Bangkok. The markets are Thailand's largest and most colourful and exotic. The tour includes a visit to "Phra Pathom Chedi", near Nakorn Pathom. With a height of 127 meters, this is the tallest Buddhist pagoda in the world. Lunch will be served at the picturesque Rose Garden Country Resort.
After lunch, enjoy a Thai Village show, giving an introduction to Thai life. You will witness an ordination into monkhood, fingernail dance, Thai boxing, hill tribe dance, sword fighting, elephants at work and folk dancing. BL
Day 4. Bangkok to Chiang Mai. Fly today to Chiang Mai. On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Remainder of day at leisure. B
Day 5. Touring Chiang Mai. Drive through different parts of the city, passing through old city walls, gates and city moat, market, residential areas, foreign Consulates, Government buildings and Tapae, Chiang Mai's tourist attraction area.
Visit Wat Chiang Man, the oldest temple in Chiang Mai, which is noteworthy for a chedi supported by rows of elephantine buttresses and a situated for Phra Kaew Khao. Proceed to Wat Phra Singh which contains most beautiful Lai Kham Chapel with its exquisite wood carving and northern style murals. Proceed to Wat Jedi Luang, containing an enormous pagoda, originally 280 feet high and was partially destroyed by an earthquake in 1545.
The last temple will be made at Wat Suan Dok where the ashes of Chiang Mai's Royal Families are interred. This temple is now one of the most famous temples for Monk School in Chiang Mai. Visit Varoros Market before returning to your Hotel. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure to explore or shop for some of Chiang Mai's famous parasols, silk and cotton weaving, jewellery, woodcarving, silverware, celadon, and lacquerware. B
Day 6. Chiang Mai and Hilltribes. Visit the best-known temple of Chiang Mai, Wat Phra Dhat Doi Suthep (built in A.D. 1384). Built upon a hill outside of the city, this temple can be reached via a 290 step staircase and the reward of climbing up is, besides the impressive temple, a fascinating view of the surroundings from Chiang Mai. Then proceed to visit a village of the Meo (Hmong) hill tribes in Doi Pui. The afternoon is at leisure. B
Phuket Beach
Day 7. Chiang Mai to Phuket. Transfer to Chiang Mai airport for your flight to Phuket. On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Remainder of day at leisure. B
Day 8. Touring Phuket. Today you will start your tour with a transfer to the Phuket Pier where you will board a cruiser for your departure to Phi Phi Island. (PLEASE NOTE – The cruiser can accommodate up to 200 passengers and takes 1 ½ hours. For a smaller crowd of 30, you may enquire to upgrade to a speedboat for an additional cost and takes 45 minutes.) Travel by cruiser (or speedboat) from Phuket enjoying the beauty of the region. There will be ample time for sightseeing on Phi Phi Le and Maya Bay, where the “The Beach" was filmed. Next, you will be transferred by a smaller boat for snorkeling and swimming in the crystal clear waters of the Andaman Sea.
After lunch, the balance of the afternoon is free to sunbathe, swim or shop at your leisure until your return cruise back to Phuket Pier. Upon arrival, you will be transferred back to your hotel. BL

Day 9. In Phuket. A full day at leisure. B
Day 10. Phuket to Bangkok. Transfer to Phuket airport for your onward flight to Bangkok. You may stay longer if you wish. B
