Morocco Weather
There are four seasons in Morocco, however, the differences between these seasons are not as extreme as in other countries.
Spring is from March to May and offers warm and pleasant weather. Temperatures in Agadir and Marrakesh range between 23-26˚C (73-78.8˚F).
Summer is from June to August and is characterized by very hot weather. The south of the country experiences temperatures of around 38˚C (100.4˚F). Despite the heat felt in most of the country, the mountainous areas are somewhat cooler.
Fall is from September to November and despite a drop in temperatures, it is often still warm enough to swim in the sea.
Winter is from December to February and is quite mild on the coast. The uplands and in the mountains can be cold and damp with temperatures dropping to around 10˚C (50˚F) at night. In Northern Morocco, some snow is not uncommon and the Atlas Mountains experience snow.
The daily sunshine in Morocco ranges from thirteen hours in the desert to nine to ten hours on the Atlantic coast. The winter sees around six hours in the north with the south experiencing seven to eight hours.
