Social Conventions
Expectations and social conventions in Hong Kong are quite similar to those in China. When dining in Hong Kong, up to twelve dishes may be served. While visitors are not required to eat every dish in its entirety, it is considered good manners to at least try each dish.
Language
Hong Kong has two official languages, Cantonese and English. English is spoken in business while Cantonese is the favoured language.
