Korea Weather
Weather in Korea is divided into four distinct seasons.
Winter is from December to March and days are long, cold and dry. The coldest month of the year tends to be January. Temperatures along the southern coast are higher while the temperatures in the mountainous interior are considerably lower.
Spring is from April to June and is a beautiful season in Korea. Temperatures are generally mild, but there can be some cooler days that require a jacket.
Summer is from late June to late August. Temperatures during the summer months can reach over 30˚C (86˚F). The rainy season can last for a month and usually runs from late June to late July. Most parts of the country receive more than 100 cm of rainfall and humidity is between 80 and 90% during July resulting in summers being muggy and hot.
Autumn is from September to November and is the ideal time to visit. During this season, the country experiences warm weather and sunny skies.
