Day 1. Depart Los Angeles.
Day 2. Cross International Dateline.
Day 3. Arrive Auckland. Arrive Auckland and make your own way to the Hertz Airport depot to pick up your Hertz midsize car rental.
Day 4 - 15. Your own journey. Your own journey. These days are for you to spend traveling New Zealand's country side. Take in spectacular views, visit quaint towns, explore the exciting cities, experience geothermal regions and diverse yourself in Maori culture.
Day 16. Auckland for home. Today you will make your way to the Hertz Auckland depot to return your rental car. Board your flight home.

Add-on fares are available from other cities. Seats are limited and may not be available on every flight. Hotels are subject to availability. US/foreign taxes/fees of approximately $253, including September 11th Security Fee, are additional. After ticketing, no change is allowed on outbound sector; inbound may be changed for $150. Cancellation penalties and other restrictions apply.
New Zealand departure taxes are not included, NZ$25.00 per person paid locally on departure. The Gokiwi accommodation pass allows travelers to pre book accommodation or leave it open. If travelers wish to leave the accommodation pass open, all accommodation will need to be booked 24 hrs prior to arrival in each region. It is recommended to pre book the arrival night in Auckland. During the months of September to March it is highly recommended to pre book all accommodation nights due to availability.
