From Marrakech airport the drive to Kasbah Tamadot takes about 45 minutes through the spectacular rolling hills as you approach the Atlas Mountains The area around the hotel is predominantly inhabited by the Berber people who make up 90% of the work force at Kasbah Tamadot. The Berber language, Tamazight, has gradually evolved into over thirty languages and hundreds of dialects, but many Berbers also speak French, English, or both. If you'd like to give a few Berber words a try, we suggest: Walaikum salam, the traditional "hello"; Tanmmirt - "thank you", and Atay nlikmt - "mint tea"
Morocco is a Muslim country therefore we would recommend women avoid wearing revealing attire if they wish to observe local custom. Take a piece of Morocco home with you and purchase some of the arts and crafts made by the locals in the Virgin Unite shop.

Bought by Sir Richard Branson in 1998 during one of his famous ballooning expeditions, Kasbah Tamadot is set at the foothills of the Atlas Mountains one hour's drive from Marrakech, Morocco.
Kasbah Tamadot is located in Asni, a small village and marketplace situated 1,320m above sea level.
With its intimate fireside bar and breathtaking terrace views, the stunning Kanoun Restaurant serves delicious local and international cuisine. The food combines local and international flavours, with home grown herbs and vegetables from the Kasbah Tamadot gardens. Dine al fresco around the candle lit reflecting pool, up on the rooftop terrace underneath the stars or somewhere private just for two!
