FIRST-CLASS | TAILOR-MADE: Cross world wonders off your bucket list on this journey through Zimbabwe. Heading to Matobo Hills and Hwange National Park, you’ll enjoy luxurious accommodations and head on safari game drives to see elephants and rhinos. You’ll also gaze upon the majesty of Victoria Falls.

This 9-day Zimbabwe vacation takes you to two incredible game lodges and magnificent Victoria Falls.

Your Zimbabwe vacation begins at Camp Amalinda at Matobo Hills, a privately-owned safari lodge in the oldest national park in Zimbabwe. Built around the park’s majestic granite scenery, Camp Amalinda conjures a romantic atmosphere in a unique environment. Each suite is built around granite boulders and offers luxurious accommodations with panoramic views of Matobo Hills. Each day, you’ll head on game drives to see the large number of mammals and birds that call the park home, including the world’s highest concentration of leopards and black eagles. You’ll also see ancient rock art from the local San people and enjoy the freedom of the lodge, including its gorgeous infinity swimming pool at the base of the camp.

From Camp Amalinda, continue to Khulu Lodge, located in Hwange National Park. This luxury safari lodge offers 5-star accommodations in a massive private concession. The tented suites accommodate a maximum of 12 guests, ensuring that you’ll receive the utmost attention from lodge staff during your stay. Each day, head on two game drives to see the elephant herds, lions, and African wild dogs that call the park home. You’ll also visit the Painted Dog Conservation Centre and enjoy the open fire pit and swimming pool of the lodge.

Close out your Zimbabwe vacation by heading to Ilala Lodge, a charming hotel right near Victoria Falls, one of the most iconic spots on the planet and one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World according to CNN. From the moment you first lay eyes on these enormous falls, which pour millions of litres of water into narrow gorges every second, you will be awestruck. You’ll have plenty of time to tour the falls and behold their majesty from every possible angle as you explore the Zimbabwean side. Take in the Main Falls, the Horseshoe Falls and the Rainbow Falls and explore the surrounding jungle to spot fascinating wildlife. Victoria Falls should be on everyone’s bucket list. You’ll be lucky enough to cross it off your own on this Zimbabwe tour. Close out your trip to Zimbabwe with a Ra-Ikane River Cruise, during which you’ll enjoy fine cuisine and refreshments and a classical atmosphere as you cruise along the Zambezi River.

At the end of your stay, head to the airport to continue your onward journey.

Tucked away into an ancient bushman's shelter, Camp Amalinda's charm will leave an indelible impression. Some of the most majestic granite scenery in the world is found in the Matobo Hills. It is here that the hopes, trials and tribulations of the San Bushmen are recorded in the ancient rock art. Mammal and bird species are prolific and include the highest concentration of leopard and black eagle in the world. All suites have been individually designed around great boulders and each differs in ambience in order to create a romantic feel without losing the vital soul of Africa. The lounge and entertainment area is tucked away into a bushman shelter with a panoramic view of the Matobo Hills. At the base of the camp is Amalinda's famous rock swimming pool, naturally shaped and carved over centuries by rain and wind erosion from a massive granite dome. It is here where African memories are made.
