Your journey to The Islands of Tahiti takes you to the famous honeymoon island of Bora Bora. Surrounded by cascading blue waves and home to one of the most beautiful lagoons in the world, Bora Bora defines paradise on earth. Based at Hotel Le Maitai Polynesia, a comfortable resort located on the southern tip of the island, you’ll enjoy Polynesian-style accommodations in an overwater or beachside bungalow and access to the resort’s amenities, including its several restaurants and bars. While in Bora Bora, you’ll head on a full day excursion through the lagoon to see the world beneath the waves. Get up close to black-tip reef sharks and stingrays as you snorkel through the lagoon in the morning. Then retire for a BBQ lunch on the charming island of Motu Tapu, which used to be reserved for the Queen. After lunch, lounge on the white-sand beach or swim through the waters before connecting back to the resort. The rest of your time is at leisure in Bora Bora. Hang back at the resort, arrange for a tour across the island’s mountains or to several lookout points, or book a diving excursion to nearby coral reefs.
At the end of your stay, you’ll connect back to the airport to return home.

Shark and Ray Lagoon Safari and BBQ on Motu Tapu-Full Day
Explore Bora Bora's lagoon by a motorized, covered boat on this incredible day. Get up close to black-tip sharks and sting rays as you stand in shallow water (3-feet deep) and can even touch the rays. Enjoy snorkeling amongst the colourful fish and coral. You'll then have a delicious BBQ lunch served on the private island, the mythic motu Tapu. This tiny motu, close to the main island, is best described as the world's most perfect place to relax. Motu Tapu was also once the residence of the Queen and was prohibited to anyone outside the court. You'll have time to relax on a white-sand beach or swim in the crystal clear waters amongst the stunning surroundings before returning back to your hotel.
