CUISINE AND WINE
The small size of Coral Expeditions II enables the chef to make last-minute changes to the daily menu based on what is available locally. High-quality dining is a key ingredient of any memorable holiday experience. When you cruise on these small ships you will savour small batch, modern-Australian cuisine created by talented chefs using fresh, locally sourced produce.

Dining Rooms offer open-seat dining without the need to reserve a table, allowing you to dine with old or new friends on each occasion.

Start the day with your choice of a continental breakfast, complete with cereals, fresh fruits and yogurts or enjoy a fully-cooked breakfast – Coral Expeditions II offers a buffet complemented by daily made-to-order specialties.

The lunch buffet showcases a variety of hot and cold dishes; from salads and cold cuts to lighter soups and fresh local seafood and tropical fruits.

Reflect on each exciting day of discovery and savour the table service and hospitality of the Dining Room staff over a delicious three-course dinner from a table d’hôte menu. There is always a choice of main course options. Vegetarian and other dietary requirements can be catered for. Most expeditions feature a barbeque or dinner on a deserted beach or picturesque island. When local regulations allow, the ship will make impromptu stops for sunset drinks and canapés.

Lunches and dinners are accompanied by a carefully curated wine list featuring artisanal Australian and New Zealand wines. Table wines and beer during meal service are included on some of the longer cruises.

COCKTAIL BARS & LOUNGES
A perfect place to relax with a good book from our library, or to enjoy drinks as the sun dips below the horizon, the cocktail bars and lounges are fully stocked with a selection of Australian and New Zealand wines, beers and a variety of artisan spirits, soft drinks and juices.

Complimentary soft drinks, tea and barista-style coffee are available 24 hours a day.

EXCURSION VESSELS

Xplorer: Our excursion boats board directly from the ship’s main deck, before the hydraulic platform gently lowers into the water, avoiding the need to clamber aboard or get your feet wet. During your adventure or expedition cruise, you will have the opportunity to participate in at least two included shore excursions or activities on most days, along with onboard briefings and presentations.

Glass bottom boats: Boarding of the glass bottom boat is safe and easy. Simply step aboard before the boat is gently lowered into the water by hydraulic lift, ensuring there is no need to clamber aboard or get your feet wet.

Zodiacs: Inflatable Zodiacs provide another exciting option for shore excursions and navigating narrow inlets and waterways. They are also used by the crew to meet with local officials and when planning shore excursions and activities.

Kayaks: Each ship carries a fleet of one or two-person kayaks which allows an up-close and personal viewing of islands and atolls and reefs. Not to mention, you get a great upper body work-out whilst seeing amazing sites.
