Goway is a family company, and staffed by like-minded, caring people. Our diversity of staff is reflected in our variety of passions; for the local community, people, heritage, culture, animals, and the environment to name a few.
To prove our commitment to our core values, Goway encourages the staff to give their time and resources to a select group of charities and initiatives.
In 2017, 20% of Goway staff volunteered under our "Make a Difference" program, representing over 500 volunteer hours of company time.

We give back with Tourism Cares, the travel and tourism industry’s community for giving
and volunteering. Our support is helping to preserve and enrich the travel experience in the
US and around the world. Together we bring the industry’s talent, resources and influence
to help destinations in need, as well as support the next generation of travel professionals.
CHILDREN'S WISH FOUNDATION OF CANADA
The Children's Wish Foundation is a uniquely Canadian charity that helps Canadian children, families and communities by granting the favourite wish of a child diagnosed with a life-threatening illness.
In 2018 for the fourth year, Goway received a Valued Partner Award from the Foundation. A team of staff will also raise more than $10,000 to grant a wish for a child in 2018 (our fourth wish to grant.).
CANADIAN BLOOD SERVICES
September 2017 was Goway's second annual blood drive in support of Canadian Blood Services. Staff are encouraged to donate blood and in return are provided with a half day off work plus transport to and from the clinic.
Goway is committed to the preservation of the world’s unique environment and wildlife. One of our programs is to support the work done by Project Rhino. Goway donates $20 to Project Rhino for each South African brochure lodge sold.
Project Rhino is an association of like-minded organisations facilitating rhino conservation interventions aimed at eliminating rhino poaching and securing the white and black rhino populations of KwaZulu-Natal. The members of Project Rhino recognise that the work in conserving and protecting rhinos from the threat of poaching is symbolic of the broader threat faced by all wildlife, and that all wildlife will benefit from actions taken by Project Rhino. The association is also aware that the poaching of rhino is symptomatic of the overall, bigger environmental crises facing South Africa and its neighbours.
