Splendid Greece Group Tour

Upon arrival at Athens International Airport and after clearing customs and immigration, you are kindly requested to proceed to collect your luggage. Your local assistant will welcome you at the exit and assist with the transfer in a comfortable private coach to the hotel for check-in. You will be welcomed with a cocktail served at the hotel with local finger food; the stunning view of the Acropolis will be our background.

The rest of the day will be at leisure to relax or to venture into Athens.

Breakfast at the hotel. Today we will have the opportunity to observe the striking contrasts that make Athens such a fascinating city.

Our expert guide will take you to see the Panathenaic Stadium where the first Olympic Games of modern times were held in 1896 (shortstop). Continue and pass by the Prime Minister’s residence (ex Royal Palace) guarded by the Euzones in their colorful uniforms, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Hadrian’s Arch, the Parliament and the Memorial to the Unknown Soldier, the Academy, the University, the National Library, and Constitution Square (Syntagma). On the Acropolis visit the Architectural Masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens: The Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion and finally “the harmony between material and spirit”, the monument that “puts the order in the mind”, the Parthenon.

The remainder of the day will be at leisure to explore the city at your own pace.

Breakfast at the hotel. Depart from the hotel and transfer to the port for the hydrofoil ferry to Mykonos. On arrival in Mykonos, we will enjoy a tour of this enchanting island.

A pearl in the Aegean Sea – Mykonos, filled with white-washed buildings, narrow winding paths and stunning beaches! Our tour starts at the port. Along with our guide, we will learn about the island’s history the social customs and see some of the most picturesque landscapes of the Aegean, a real opportunity for photographs!

Ag. Giannis, the serene little bay with magnificent views of Delos Island is among our first stops, after passing the beautiful bay of Ornos. Ano Mera is the second village on the island in population after “Chora” the capital. View the interesting Orthodox Monastery of Panagia Tourliani. A beautiful marble fountain is found in the yard outside the church. Passing Ano Mera we continue our way to the beach of Kalafatis, awarded with the blue flag for the crystal clear waters. Before starting the walking tour in Chora we have the opportunity to make various stops at Panormos, Paranga Super Paradise. With our guide, we will walk in the small picturesque streets of the capital. Orientation is given in the Labyrinth as well as information and a tour of the cosmopolitan port, churches, renowned windmill, not to mention Petros the Pelican, the famous pet of the island!

At the end of the tour, transfer to the hotel for check-in.

The rest of the day will be at leisure exploring the beautiful Island that is famous not only for its beauty but also for its entertainment.

Optional tour: Mykonian Spiti Farm Barbeque.(additional cost)
The Mykonian Spiti farm barbeque is a unique experience that will start at 5 pm from the hotel, where the bus will pick us up and drive us to the farm. We will drive across the center of the island that unites the city (Hora) of Mykonos with the village of Ano Mera. Once we arrive at the Mykonian Farm we will be greeted by the Farm's superintendent who will welcome us with traditional treats, such as the famous Greek Delights (loukoumi) and dried figs, and we will sit and relax on a traditional stone-built couch sipping raki while learning the history of the island's farming, its livestock and its crops. Afterwards, he will guide us through the farm, showing us how organic and animal farming operates. All our farm animals (pigs, sheep, goats, rabbits, chickens and our proud donkey "Konstantis") will also be there to greet and meet us. Depending on the season, you can cut and savor products from the vegetable garden. For those visitors who wish to get involved with farming tasks, the superintendent will provide you with the right tools and instructions as you go along.

Immediately after the farming tour, begins the Hellenic barbeque experience, which is filled with gastronomic delights that will make your stomach rumble throughout the procedure. Our experienced grill man will start the fire and a variety of the highest quality Hellenic meat will be there to consume at the "feast". All participants will take turns in learning the Hellenic practices of Barbequing, constantly guided by our grill man.

During the whole procedure, you will also learn to make necessary side dishes, such as the famous Horiatiki Salad, which of course will consist of ingredients straight from our farm, the well-known tzatziki sauce, with fresh cucumbers directly picked from our garden and also a fresh Mykonian sausage omelet will be cooked on the spot, with eggs that you will pick directly from our coop. All necessary equipment for the barbeque will be provided for all participants. The "junketing" and the consumption of meat, wines, and drinks are free of charge with no limit on quantity and time duration and will be served under our shady pavilion perfectly located on our farm. Make sure that your outfit is casual, as there is little room for a "formal dress code" on the farm.

After this experience ends, there will be a photo session with guests and staff, at the end you will transfer to your hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel. Today with a high-speed ferry ride, we will reach Santorini. At the arrival we’ll join our private guide and coach and enjoy the half-day island tour, visiting Oia & Fira. Along the way, we’ll have a well-deserved stop at one of the local famous wineries for a wine tasting followed by a typical lunch

Oia- The sophisticated and charming village of Oia situated at the north point of Santorini goes beyond all expectations. Oia hosts the most magnificent views over the volcanic islets and caldera, as well as demonstrating wealth from its commercial trading days with its marble flooring, art galleries and jewelry shops. Its colourful Cycladic architecture as well 52 blue domes are truly memorable.

Fira- The life and buzz of Santorini! Originally known as Hora, based on the rim of the caldera and 260m above sea level. Fira is a long, narrow collection of buildings with steep, narrow, stepped alleyways. Filled with local products, museums, and small art galleries not to mention the many jewelry shops. A great place to experience the legendary sunset in one of its many cafeterias and or restaurants. In the end transfer to the hotel and check-in

Breakfast at the hotel. Today is at leisure to enjoy the breathtaking destination, maybe relaxing on the beach.

Optional Sunset Catamaran Cruise: (additional cost)

This evening, we will have an unforgettable dinner cruise on board a Catamaran on the romantic light of a Greek sunset!

A private transfer will take us to Vlihada Marina (in the south of the island) to board the catamaran cruise. The first stop will be at the beautiful Red Beach ant then at the breathtaking White Beach. Afterward, we will sail along Akrotiri and Aspronissi, and reach the hot springs. Here we will enjoy time to swim and have a mud bath. Your cruise this evening includes dinner and drinks on board. The tour ends at Amoudi Bay, where your private local coach will be waiting to take you back to your hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel. This morning is time to say goodbye to Santorini and, transfer to the port to board the fast ferry to Athens. Check in and time at leisure.

Tonight, in the shadow of the Acropolis and its ancient temples, you will be invited to a fantastic farewell dinner in a typical Taverna located in the Plaka. Here, surrounded by the typical noisy Greek folklore will savor the incredible food accompanied by live music.
