Argentina: Golfers Paradise

Welcome to enchanting Argentina!

On arrival in Buenos Aires we will be met by a local representative of Goway Travel and transferred to our hotel.

This evening enjoys a Welcome to Argentina Cocktail Reception at our hotel.

This morning enjoy a relaxing morning and a leisurely breakfast. Early this afternoon we depart for our private guided city tour. Buenos Aires, “the Paris of South America,” is a charming city with a strong influence of most of the main European cities. Beautiful walks, avenues, parks, monumental buildings, cafes, museums and churches gather in 26 districts, each with its own distinct personality gives it a truly cosmopolitan air. The northern quarter resembles the most elegant areas of Paris. May Avenue and its innumerable cafes revive the flavour of Madrid’s Gran Via. The shady Belgrano streets recall the distinguished Londoners suburb. Naples seems to be present in the boisterous and colourful La Boca quarter.

This evening we enjoy a traditional Argentine dinner at Las Cabanas Lilas.

This morning we transfer to the Jockey Club for our first round of golf. Probably the most prestigious Golf Club in Argentina, the Jockey Club has opened the Red Course for our sole use.

In 2005 Golf Digest ranked The Jockey Club as one of the best 100 courses around the world.

This evening is at leisure. 

This morning we transfer to the Pilar Golf Club for our first clinic with Sandra and Ginny followed by our round of golf. Located in one of the new fashion areas around Buenos Aires, Pilar offers a modern, very elegant and exclusive Country Golf Club. Pilar Golf Club is a links course, considered one of the most modern and fascinating courses in Argentina. *Shared power carts included*

This evening we enjoy an Argentine Tango Show and Dinner at Esquina Carlos Gardel. This tango club and restaurant, with its Art Nouveau style, recreates the sophistication and luxury of the salons of bygone years. It provides a lovely tango environment with first-class artistic performances together with delightful cuisine.

Late this morning we are transferred to the Olivos Golf Course for our 1-hour clinic with Sandra and Ginny followed by our round of golf.
The Olivos Golf is one of the most prestigious clubs of Argentina and its history began on August 13th 1926, in the Central Argentine Railway Station.

The magnificent English-style golf course was constructed in 1950 by Luther Koontz, on a fabulous undulating terrain. It has currently 27 holes and it is considered one of the best South American courses for its design and beauty. Caddies Included/no carts

The evening is at leisure. 

This morning we check out of our hotel and are transferred to the airport to board our flight to Iguazú Falls. On arrival just before noon, we are transferred to our hotel and have the balance of the day at leisure.

Today we enjoy a full-day excursion to the Argentine side of the falls, including a 3-course lunch at a local restaurant. Located on the Iguazú River, the Waterfalls are made up of about 160-270 falls, depending on the volume of water the river carries. The falls are part of a singular practically virgin jungle ecosystem protected by Argentine and Brazilian national parks on either side of the cascades. Two-thirds of the falls are on the Argentinean side of the river where you can also tour Iguazú National Park where there are jungle and hiking trails. 

This morning after breakfast, we enjoy our Great Adventure Tour of Iguazú National Park. We start by entering the jungle from the “Sender Yacaratía” trail with special transportation that allows a panoramic view of the environment along with experienced guides that give a lot of explanations as well as the legend of this spectacular place. After an 8 km truck ride, we arrive at the Puerto Macuco Base, and walk over to the floating platform where the second part of our ride begins. With motor-boats, we travel 6 km through the Canyon of the Iguazú River, until the falls are river rapids. After enjoying the view from the calm side of San Martin Island we sail to the “Tres Mosqueteros” waterfall, at that point, the Brazilian and Argentinean sides and the Devil’s Throat can be clearly appreciated. After that, we sail along the shore of the island until we get to the most exciting part where we face the San Martin waterfall, a wonderful and unforgettable experience, for it’s the largest waterfall any motor-boat can approach safely. We are then transferred back to our hotel where we have the balance of the day at leisure. 

Late this morning we are transferred to the airport for our flight to Bariloche (via Buenos Aires) arriving in Bariloche approx 630pm. On arrival we are met by a local representative of Goway Travel and transferred to our accommodation.

Today is at leisure to enjoy the amenities our resort has to offer. 

This morning after breakfast we transfer to Arelauquen Golf Club for our 1 Hour clinic with the local pro before our round of golf. This amazing 18-hole course is located on the north-western shore of Lake Gutierrez. Immersed in a setting where the air is pure, surrounded by mountains, lakes of crystal clear waters, unique vegetation and the highest level infrastructure necessary for golfers.

Today we enjoy a round of golf at our resort’s course.

Its 18 holes are absolutely unique, offering 360º views while you play. Amid stunning scenery of mountains and crystal clear lakes, the course creates a charming contrast with the depths of the surrounding centennial woods, inviting the golfer to enjoy an unforgettable experience.

After our round of golf we enjoy Afternoon Tea at the 19th Hole. Amid the wonderful scenery, the Club House invites us to a rewarding break where we can enjoy their delicious sandwiches, tea blends, cakes and homemade jams.

Today is at leisure to enjoy the amenities available. Go quad-biking, horse-riding, play an additional round of golf, enjoy a massage or just take a walk – the opportunities are endless. 

This morning after breakfast we depart Bariloche by coach and drive through the 7 lakes route (approximately 4 hours) to the north Patagonia area, and on to San Martin de los Andes. The village is located on the shores of Lake Lacar. Its geographical location is of singular beauty, almost hidden in a sumptuous amphitheatre in the mountains that preserve the fertility of its environment. On arrival, we are transferred to our Resort.

Today we have a 1-hour clinic with the local pro prior to playing our round at Chapelco. This is the first Jack Nicklaus and Jack Nicklaus II co-designed golf course in South America. The 18-hole Chapelco course was designed to enhance the unparalleled scenic beauty on which it is placed.

Today is our “Pars and Patagonia” Golf Tournament. Be prepared to Tango up to the Tee Box to kick off this fun-filled event!

This evening we get together for our Awards Dinner at our resort. 

Day at leisure to enjoy the amenities of our resort. 

This morning we drive back to Bariloche for our flight to Buenos Aires arriving in the afternoon. On arrival we are transferred to our hotel. Our evening is at leisure.

This morning we depart BA by ferry, crossing into Uruguay. We visit the historic town of Colonia del Sacramento. Located 45 minutes by ferry from Buenos Aires; Colonia Del Sacramento stands out due to its architectural beauty and historical relevance. We will have time to stroll the streets of Colonia prior to meeting together for lunch at a local restaurant before transferring to our resort. Balance of the day is at leisure

This morning we transfer to Carmelo Golf Course. Destined to be South America’s premier golf course, this magnificent course already has critics raving about the beauty of its natural setting. It presents one of South America’s truest and purest tests for golfers of all abilities.

Today is at leisure to enjoy the amenities of our resort. 

Today we play our final round of golf at our resorts golf course, Golf Real.
The spectacular course is situated amongst Uruguayan Eucalyptus trees, lakes, and incredibly beautiful countryside. The course also offers great views of Colonia’s gorgeous sunsets that light up the sky like nowhere else. *Pull carts included/no power carts*

This evening we get together for our Farewell Dinner at our resort. 

Today we check out of our resort and take the ferry back to Buenos Aires where we are transferred to the airport to board our flight home.
