Day 1

FLY HOMETOWN TO TORONTO

Upon arrival at Pearson Airport, we will be met by our guide and transferred to our hotel for check-in. Please note usual check-in time is 3:00 pm, and rooms may not be ready. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 2

TORONTO - NIAGARA FALLS - TORONTO

After breakfast at the hotel, we proceed to Niagara. On arrival, we board the 'Hornblower Cruise' for a breathtaking view of Niagara Falls from the boat while we ride through the crashing waters and massive rock formations. We have a delicious lunch at the Skylon Tower, offering spectacular views over the great falls. On the way back, we stop in the charming village of Niagara on the Lake, which contrasts very much with Niagara Falls. Free time before we return to Toronto for a panoramic city tour. We pass by Queen’s Park, University Avenue and the Provincial Parliament buildings. The tour ends with a visit to the iconic CN Tower. Defining the Toronto skyline at 553.33m (1,815ft), the CN Tower is Canada's most recognizable and celebrated icon. It is an internationally renowned architectural triumph, an engineering Wonder of the Modern World and a must-see for anyone visiting Toronto.

Day 3

TORONTO - KINGSTON - OTTAWA

Today, we depart by road for Ottawa, the country’s capital. After a lunch stop in Kingston, we have a stunning scenic cruise through the Thousand Islands. We learn about the heritage of the Thousand Islands region bypassing dozens of islands, fairytale castles, lighthouses and island mansions. Afterwards, we transfer to Ottawa to check into our hotel for our 2-night stay. The remainder of the day is at leisure.

Day 4

OTTAWA SIGHTSEEING

This morning, we take a city tour of Ottawa, which includes the Parliament Buildings, Ottawa Natural History Museum, Centennial Flame and the Peace Tower Monument. Later, we drive through the Embassy District area and along the famous Rideau Canal. The rest of the day is at your leisure to explore the city on your own.

Day 5

OTTAWA - QUEBEC CITY

We leave Ottawa today and head towards Québec, La Belle Province and the centre of Canada’s vibrant French culture and heritage. Québec, where the official language is French, has a strong European influence. Two hours before reaching Quebec City, the provincial capital, we have a stop in Trois Rivières to discover the “Sanctuaire Notre-Dame-du-Cap” (Shrine of Our Lady of the Cape), an oasis of peace, along the King's road with its immense, modern basilica, old sanctuary and magnificent gardens. After our visit, we continue on to Quebec City. After check-in at the hotel, the remainder of the day is at leisure.

Day 6

QUEBEC CITY

This morning, we enjoy a tour of historic Quebec City that includes visits to the Upper and Lower Towns, views of the stunning Parliament Buildings, the Plains of Abraham, the Citadel, Chateau Frontenac, Place d'Armes, Quebec National Assembly and the Montmorency waterfalls. 

Lunch is included on the Huron-Wendat reservation (the Huron Traditional Site.) It is a unique opportunity to discover the history, culture and lifestyle of the Huron First Nation with stories and relish the flavours of aboriginal cuisine at the Nekarre Restaurant located on the site. The menu includes authentic cuisine which typically includes a lot of game (bison, deer, wapiti) and fish (salmon and trout). All menus include traditional soup, main course and dessert. 

After lunch, we visit the reservation: The Long House (Huron’s traditional housing), a showcase of the Huron’s way of life. We visit the smokehouse, the fish and meat dryer and listen to the comments on methods of food preservation. We continue to the sweat lodge to discover the purification techniques used by our ancestors. 

We have a stop at the giant teepee and learn some information about the way of life of Indigenous peoples from different Québec Nations with a presentation on traditional means of transportation and the methods of making canoes and snowshoes.

After a fascinating day, we return to our hotel for a free evening.

Day 7

QUEBEC CITY - MONTREAL CITY TOUR

A relaxing morning before we depart for Montreal, a fascinating French-infused city that is in love with festivals, the arts, good food and an all-encompassing ‘joie de vie’. 

We enjoy a traditional smoked meat lunch, an icon of Montreal’s eclectic food scene. This afternoon, we take a city tour that includes St. Joseph Oratory, Olympic Stadium, Jacques Cartier Square, Mt. Royal and the Notre Dame cathedral (exterior). Explore Montreal Underground City – a series of interconnected office towers, hotels, shopping centres, residential and commercial complexes, convention halls, universities and performing arts venues that form the heart of Montreal's central business district, referred to as Downtown Montreal. Our dinner is at leisure and do not miss the opportunity to try Quebec’s worldwide famous Poutine!

Day 8

MONTREAL

Today is our day at leisure to enjoy this amazing city.

This evening our guide will meet us at the hotel and transfer us to old Montreal for our farewell Dinner on the terrace of William Gray Hotel, located in Old Montreal, offering breathtaking views of this romantic city. Transfer back to the hotel after dinner.

MONTREAL DEPARTURE

After breakfast, we transfer to Montreal Trudeau airport to take our flight back home.
