Arrive New Orleans

Upon arrival at the New Orleans Airport, you will be met by a Goway Representative and transfer to your hotel.

This evening, enjoy a traditional creole style meal at a local restaurant.

New Orleans

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, then depart for a morning city tour discovering the Big Easy with major points of interest, including the French Quarter, Treme, the Esplanade, the Garden District and the Metairie Cemetery. Return to the French Quarter for a walking tour to discover the food culture of the area. Stop by some the French Quarter’s most famous restaurants for some of the area’s most delicious food. Enjoy tastings that could include seafood gumbo, Creole brisket, and beignets. You also learn fun facts from your guide as you walk along the city streets. You’ll visit world-renowned restaurants and enjoy the finest Louisiana cooking.

The remainder of your day is at leisure.

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and the morning at leisure.

This evening, let our Chefs show you why New Orleans food is the best. Join us for one of our exclusive Hands-On cooking classes in the French Quarter. Wine/beer is served throughout class. In our Roux class you will prepare a 3 course meal to die for! Come hungry!

Day 4

New Orleans

After breakfast at the hotel, meet your guide and depart for your full day tour. Go beyond the French Quarter and discover the unique Cajun and Creole cultures of New Orleans during this full-day swamp and plantation tour. Venture deep into the bayous to see Cajun living and spot wildlife like alligators and pelicans. Then, admire the beautiful architecture and learn about the history of Oak Alley and Laura plantations including a traditional Cajun lunch.

Day 5

New Orleans

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and the full day at leisure to experience the city your own way. This evening, experience New Orleans’ vibrant jazz scene on a night out with a knowledgeable local guide. Learn about jazz’s origins and culture and visit landmarks like Louis Armstrong Park, Marigny, and Frenchman Street. Enjoy a beer and leave the tour armed with recommendations and insights from your guide, ready to enjoy the rest of the evening.

New Orleans

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Today you will uncover the mysteries of the swamps surrounding New Orleans on an exhilarating airboat tour of the area. Cruise along the picturesque waterways in search of ferocious alligators and other rare wildlife while listening to illuminating commentary from your guide. Feel your adrenaline levels surge as your driver accelerates to high speeds, and capture fantastic photographs during regular stops. Next, continue on with a traditional oyster grilling experience. You will have a hands-on experience shucking and tasting some of New Orleans best cuisine while having the experience of a life-time. Once you are finished, you will bring home skills that you would not have had otherwise and memories that will last you a lifetime!

New Orleans

Enjoy your final day in the Big Easy at leisure to get any last minute shopping and gumbo tasting. This evening, experience a classic NOLA dining experience at Mister Gregory’s French Quarter Shrimp Boil. Start with a muffaletta tasting and appetizers of local blue crab and alligator tail while admiring views of Armstrong Park. Watch as chefs prepare the boil, then dig into this authentic New Orleans dish—save room for dessert. All the while, local performers keep you entertained.

Depart New Orleans

After breakfast, check out of your hotel and transfer to the New Orleans Airport for your return flight home.
