Luckily, we’ve added new departure dates for our Kenya, Egypt, and Japan Cherry Blossom Odyssey packages. We’ve also added a brand-new India Odyssey in addition to other packages to East Africa and Asia. Remember that every Goway vacation, including our Odyssey packages, are tailor-made just for you. What is a Goway Odyssey vacation package?

A Goway Odyssey is a small group vacation package that takes travelers to some of the most famous wonders of Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. Odyssey vacation packages include first-class accommodations (think 4-star hotels and lodges), and typically last between 7 to 14 days.

The small group on an Odyssey averages between six and 12 travelers, with the exception of Israel Odyssey, which has a maximum of 20 travelers, and Japan Cherry Blossom Odyssey, which has a maximum of 16. Every Goway Odyssey vacation package is tailor-made to include unique experiences that incorporate new and seasonal focuses, so no two Goway Odyssey vacations are ever quite the same. What are Goway’s Odyssey vacation packages?

India Odyssey: Delhi, Jaipur, Ranthambore, Varanasi & More

This brand-new 14-day trip to India is perfect for first-time visitors to the Indian subcontinent. Highlights include the capital Delhi, the Amber Fort and Palace of Winds in Jaipur, a safari searching for tigers in Ranthambore National Park, a stop at the ghost city of Fatehpur Sikri, a tour of the Taj Mahal in Agra, and a visit to the sacred city of Varanasi.

India Odyssey Travel Info

Available: October 1, November 5, and December 2 departures are still available for 2023. For 2024, February 17 and March 17 are also available.

Our November 5 departure date takes place over Diwali and March 14 departure takes place over Holi. Both departures include special celebratory activities.

Japan Cherry Blossom Odyssey

This 12-day trip to Japan is perfect for travelers who want to see the cherry blossoms in the spring. Japan Cherry Blossom Odyssey takes travelers to Osaka, Kyoto, Kanazawa, and Tokyo, and includes exclusive cherry blossom viewings, as well as a stay at a traditional Japanese inn with an onsen (hot spring).

East Africa Odyssey Super Special

This 14-day East African safari includes both Kenya and Tanzania for the ultimate game viewing experience. Starting in Nairobi and ending in Arusha, you’ll head to popular game parks including Mt. Kenya, Lake Nakuru, the Masai Mara, the Serengeti, and the Ngorongoro Crater. On East Africa Odyssey Super Special, there is a maximum of seven guests per safari vehicle. If the small group needs more than one vehicle, the group splits up into two independent departures, so that vehicles are able to travel independently and not have to wait around for others when game viewing. This guarantees more intimate game viewing conditions.

Kenya Odyssey Super Special

This 8-day vacation takes you to some of the best safari game parks across Kenya, including Samburu, Ol Pejeta, Lake Nakuru, and, of course, the Masai Mara. Like East Africa Odyssey Super Special, Kenya Odyssey Super Special has a maximum of seven guests per safari vehicle, and splits up vehicles into multiple departures in the event that more than one vehicle is needed.

Tanzania Odyssey Super Special

This 7-day African safari focuses on Tanzania. Starting and ending in Arusha, travelers will visit some of the world’s most popular game parks, including Lake Manyara, the Ngorongoro Crater, and the Serengeti. Like with the other safari odyssey vacation packages, this trip has a maximum of seven guests per vehicle, and splits into multiple departures if several vehicles are required.

Egypt Odyssey Special: Cairo, Luxor, Aswan & More

This 9-day Egyptian vacation is a great first-time visit to the Middle Eastern nation. Travelers see the classic sights in Cairo, including the pyramids and the Egyptian Museum, then cruise the Nile River from Luxor to Aswan to see temples and tombs. The vacation ends back in Cairo, where you’ll see various palaces and markets from the Middle Ages.
