MV Seaman Cruise Introduction
This lovely catamaran offers a very special experience for those wishing to take an intimate cruise in the Galápagos Islands. The purpose-built MV Seaman’s Journey has been escorting visitors to the archipelago since 2008. It is small, but certainly not cramped: air-conditioned guest cabins and suites are spacious, with lofty ceilings and large picture windows. Standard cabins are located on the main deck while the larger suites are on the upper deck. Structured as a catamaran with a twin hull, it is notably stable for its size. The vessel offers accommodation for just 16 guests, who are very well looked after by nine crew members (including a naturalist guide): with more than one crewman or woman per visitor, excellent service is assured.
This is a grown-up ship for grown-ups: special care is taken to assure your comfort and relaxation, with a cost bar and lounge area, roomy sun decks and a “book nook” with a small selection of volumes about the islands. You can relax over dinner and watch the sunset after a day exploring the lava flows, forests and beaches islands on guided landings, kayaking, or snorkelling in the clear waters surrounding the volcanic islands.
