Onboard activities include carrom, chess, scrabble, cards, fishing, painting, books, and the use of a music system. The cruise covers backwater canals and there is an option to go canoeing, kayaking, bamboo rafting as well as a stopover and visit a local village. Laundry is available on board at an additional cost.
Cuisine on the backwaters is unique, exotic and an absolute explosion of flavours and fragrances! Fresh seafood from the backwaters is the main type of food on the house boats including Karimeen (an exotic fresh water fish), shrimp, crabs, mussels and shellfish. Kerala is also famous for its elaborate vegetarian feast served in elegant splendour on banana leaves. Toddy – the champagne of the backwaters, is the fresh milky extract tapped from the coconut tree and when left to ferment, toddy becomes a rather strong intoxicant.
