Willkommen, upon arrival you will be transferred to your hotel. Later this evening meet up with your fellow Lions and with the tour manager for a welcome dinner at the hotel

Oberammergau And Schloss Newschwansten

Today we travel into the picturesque countryside of southern Bavaria, with a stop to visit the richly-decorated town of Oberammergau, famous for its centuries-old Passion Play.

Our journey continues to the village of Hohenschwangau, where after a lunch break (meal not included), we get to tour one of the most famous sites in the area - Schloss Neuschwanstein, the so-called “Disney Castle” of Ludwig II of Bavaria.

Finally today, we will end with a visit to the beautiful rococo church at Wies, before returning to Munich in the evening.

Munich to Cortina D'Ampezzo

After breakfast, we depart on a guided tour of Munich’s centre, before travelling south into Austria. Our first stop will be Innsbruck, which is nestled among towering mountain peaks and an opportunity to enjoy a typical Austrian lunch at the Café Sachler, located in the historic city centre. During your lunch you will get the chance to try the authentic Sachertorte. Afterwards we continue south into Italy, reaching the town of Cortina d’Amprezzo, in the heart of the Dolomite Mountains.

This morning we start by travelling to nearby Falzarego, where we will take the cable car to visit the mountain of Lagazuoi. This peak gives breath-taking views over the Dolomites, with their unearthly grey rock and strangely-shaped peaks and is also well known for its wartime tunnels and First World War mine warfare.

Later in the afternoon we return to Cortina and the rest of the day is at leisure.

Cortina D'Ampezzo to Lake Garda

Our day starts after breakfast with a drive to a vineyard near Valdobbiadene, where you are able to taste the region’s finest product - prosecco. We have a guided tour of the vineyards and winery, before sampling some of the sparkling wine. Our tour and tasting is followed by a light lunch of local Italian specialities.

After lunch, we continue on to Desenzano, on the southern shore of Lake Garda, where we enjoy a short boat ride out to Sirmione, on its promontory in the lake, and after arriving ashore, we take a short guided walking tour.

We then return to Desenzano, and travel north up the lakeshore to our hotel.

Lake Garda

This morning, we take a guided tour of a truly unique Italian monument: Il Vittoriale, which was constructed by the poet and politician Gabriele D’Annunzio. You will be able to marvel at its splendid gardens, including the entire prow of a battleship, embedded in the lawn.
In the afternoon, a real highlight of our tour, as we embark on a private boat trip to the Isola del Garda, in the lake just outside Salò. Upon arrival, we receive a private tour of the island, which has been the home of the same aristocratic Cavazza family since the 16th century.

We then return to our hotel, before our farewell dinner this evening at a local restaurant.

Lake Garda to Milan

After breakfast, we depart Lake Garda and make our way to the 102nd Lions Clubs International host city. The tour will end at of the Convention hotels

Tour will conclude at one of the Lions Clubs International Convention Hotels, which will be advised closer to arrival, and will be based on where the majority are staying. Anyone at a different hotel, will need to make their own way to their convention hotel.
