Today, we head for Tadoussac for a whale-watching cruise on the St. Lawrence. Whales by the shore can often be seen where the Saguenay River joins the St. Lawrence. The shallow waters at the confluence of the two rivers are a rich feeding ground. The Saguenay is the home of the beluga whale, a variety of white arctic porpoise. Other species of whale reported near the mouth of the Saguenay include finbacks, humpbacks and blues. Return to La Malbaie. Farewell dinner at the hotel.
